Yes, I know about the bead slot enhancer issue. I have the code fixed, so it will be corrected in the next rev. The Android version doesn't have the typo that caused the problem in the IOS version.

When I equip +1 Mystic Staff of Loki on the Wizard or Druid- it doesn’t appear to add the INT Bonus to hit. Or does it not show as to hit bonus for Ranged and only shows the DEX bonus in the stat line?

For Android, Eyepatch of the Aesir (Greater and Odins) is not adding to Polymorph damage for Druid.

I am in the process of getting an update released with several bug fixes. Unfortunately, Google Play is at it again. They seriously want to get rid of any non-corporate developers, and create a new hoop to jump through monthly.

As a result, there will not be a new release for the Character Generator for Android. The existing version will work for the January VTD and has all the character updates, along with codes for the run. Version 12.0.0 will be the last release available on Google Play. After VTD 28, I will be deleting my Google Play account.

Likewise, this will eliminate the Token Validator on Google Play also.

I apologize for this, but Google has a big time burr about small developers. There are several reasons for this, mostly due to cost savings, but I will not bore you with the details.

A little sad to lose the flexibility (I have an android phone), but totally understandable. Fortunately, for me, my primary use is through my IPad and I still have the website for backup.

I agree with this. I will definitely miss the android app, but it sounds like it has been a LOT for a long time, and I for one sincerely appreciate it.

Bummer because I only have an android phone but I hear ya. Appreciate all the time you put in.

Version 12.0.1 has been released for IOS with the following changes:

1. Corrected a problem with Bead expanders
2. Corrected a problem with Wonder item effects
3. Corrected a problem with Ioun Stone Trilliants
4. Corrected a problem with 2025 Mystic Staves
5. Corrected a problem with 2025 Focus items.

For those of us that don't have an iPhone, I take it the character builder website is the only other option to use in VTD? Is that updated at the same time the app is updated?

Updated by different people on different schedules.

For VTD 28 next week, you will be fine with v 12.0.0 on Android, which is still available on Google Play.

I am looking into other sites that can host the installation (apk file), which may be in place for next month.

That said, the web site is an excellent option. Acherin does an awesome job of keeping it up to date.

Once again, Trent to the rescue! Trent has offered to host the updates to the Character Generator for Android devices. The latest update is now available on Trent's True Dungeon Tokens web site.

If you download the apk on your Android device, you should be given an option to Open it. Tap yes. You may need to change settings to allow the download, and to launch the install, but once that is done, you can do the install. It should install over the existing copy, and keep all your builds.
