On IOS also. New versions appeared in this year's token set, and I didn't get the Set Bonus set for those. It will be corrected in the next rev. I have a bunch of changes planned, and that work is next up on the app development schedule.

Monk ranged damage bonus:
When putting shurikens in both hands it adds STR bonus damage twice to ranged damage bonus.

I do check for offhand on adding the strength bonus, unfortunately I check for melee offhand. Oops. Got it fixed for the next rev.

Can we get some place where it shows the +1 to init maybe next to Surprise, right now because there are a bunch of tokens that grant immunity to surprise but there are only 2 that grant init bonus, and right now the only way coaches know to give the party the init bonus are to ask?

I will look into it. This includes modifications to the Party Card aspects of the app, so there is not a trivial bit of code to add. No guarantees at this point, but maybe.

No problem I don't think it will be a huge deal for origins but maybe gencon. Worse place if you could put it under set bonuses or something easy there that would be helpful.

Ok, lots of changes for the Character Generator apps.

- Add the 4th Tooth of Cavadar
- Corrected the set bonus for the Defender set
- Added character and party initiative to the statistics view and Party Card view
- Corrected a problem with devices set with Large Text and the table view on the character build view
- Added the 2018 effects for variable tokens (Amulet of Wonder, Eldritch Runestone, etc.)
- Added a feature to remove items made invalid by changes to other slots (i.e. Lenses of Divine Sight, when removing Charm of Enlightenment)
- Corrected a problem when a Monk or Ranger equips 2 thrown weapons, and the strength bonus was added twice.
- Corrected a problem where the Masterwork Tool Kit was showing up twice.

That's the brief version. The IOS app has been submitted to Apple for review. It will take a few days, but should release this week, hopefully. The Android version is in final testing and should be out by Monday.

The Android version also contains an improvement that I am hopeful will correct the problem Tybalt was having.

Ok, there were 2 big changes. The first is code to deal with tokens equipped that are no longer valid for the build. For example, if you have the Amulet of Wonder equipped, it gives you access to Runestones with the AoW effect. Previously, if you un-equip the AoW, the Runestone stayed, although if you try to change it, it would not show up in the list. Another example is Lenses of Divine Sight equipped after equipping Charm of Enlightenment. Now the player removes the Charm, but the Lenses stayed equipped. The new version would remove the Lenses of Divine Sight, if any other change drops the Wisdom below 20. There are several examples of this type of issue, and getting frequent and easy enough to miss, that the code change is required.

The second change is to add tokens for the 2018 variable effects. The 2017 effects are still in place for AoW, Eldritch Runestone, Special and the Golden Apple. On June 19 (2 days after Origins), the effects will automatically change over to the 2018 effects announced by Druegar/Jeff earlier. This prevents any possibility of any builds including the 2017 effects at Gencon.

For those that wish to experiment with the new effects in builds, I have added Amulet of Wonder-2018, Eldritch Runestone-2018, Special-2018 and Golden Apple of Eris-2018. Equipping these tokens will provide the 2018 effects, but the Statistics view with change color and include a watermark to make it obvious that the build is not valid for Origins. (A sample is below) The view will automatically return to normal on June 19, when those effects are legitimate.

In short, after June 19, the Amulet of Wonder and the Amulet of Wonder-2018 will do the same thing.

Hopefully all this makes sense.

That player is contributing a +1 to party initiative, but there is no individual player initiative in TD because it's always rolled for the group as a whole. Maybe I'm just splitting hairs, but read on.

Here's my concern: I don't want folks to think they get an individual initiative bonus. I'm sure the veterans know this, but new players may not and this could confuse them.

Coaches, help me out here. Do you want/need an individual player's contribution to party initiative if the total initiative bonus is already calculated for you on the party card view?

Hmmm, well all we need on the party card is the total. Is it useful for the Character Generator to show that character's contribution, if any, to initiative? I don't know that its any different than how we now have to track the cumulative effect of charms of avarice or good fortune.

Maybe the generator just needs to give a yes/no for awareness and we use tick marks on the party card before writing in the final number.

The party card function is very nice, but at least to this point I see very few people doing anything other than just showing individual characters. Most people who do a party card do so with Amorgens Spreadsheet. Thant could change over time though.

I personally don't use the Party Card view. I absolutely want to see the +1 Initiative on the character stats screen though.
