BasicBraining wrote: The last two VTD I've had issues with a couple elemental effects that weren't attacks when I had Ring of Wonder equipped. Because the damage type was 'none' it bypassed the melee/spell/ranged damage resistance from the wonder/sea elf effect. They were non-fire elemental typed damage, however.

If there were a non-attack fire effect in the future, hypothecally a fire aura, I suspect I'd take extra damage.

Not seeing the issue here. Can you give me any details on what you were getting and what your were expecting to get?

Friendly wishlist poke: is there any chance of implementing the ability to cast a spell as free action and combine that with another attack in the same dice roller round? Top use cases include:

* free action spell + standard action spell (Wizard using Quicken or CoSSt)
* free action spell + standard action polymorph attack (Druid using RoQB or CoSSt)

What I'm envisioning is that you would cast the FA spell first, and the screen with the final cast buttons would have a "Cast as free action? No|Yes" toggle (similar to the existing "Use Mad Evoker's Charm?: No|Yes" but not limited to wizards); if you choose Yes, TDCC waits for you to do another attack before transmitting anything to the dice roller.

Note that either or both of the attacks may involve a slide which could miss. The ideal solution IMHO would be for the spellcaster class to end up transmitting two separate "dice" just like a Ranger or Monk does, but if the server can't support that I would happily settle for TDCC transmitting one result for the total damage of both attacks (substituting zero for any that miss).

Yes, my AC is lower than the Wizard's. No regrets!

Perhaps I'm just missing it, but where would a Rogue activate Amulet of Flawsight ( tokendb.com/token/amulet-of-flawsight/ ) or Lenses of Close Inspection ( tokendb.com/token/lenses-of-close-inspection/ )? Both are limited time effects (not always active), so I expected to see them under Buffs like Oil of the Tinkerer. Should I be looking somewhere else?

Its a buff you can activate but it is on you to make sure to honor the once per game or per room aspect of tokens that allow for this kind of effect.

Woohoo!!! The Wizard use case looks awesome in generic test dungeon (steps: spell 1 "Add to Cast Sequence", spell 2 "Add to Cast Sequence", then click Execute Casting Sequence), and I can't wait to use it in live play tomorrow. :)

Is there also a way to sequence a spell + polymorph attack? If so, the way to do it wasn't obvious to me.

Just noticed this under Always Active for Questor’s Charm
May re-roll any saving throw result of one even if consecutive ones are rolled.

However that is not accurate for Questor’s.
Per tokendb
If two consecutive 1’s are rolled (for a single saving throw), the save fails. This is an “always on” power.

The re-roll a 1 power can be invoked multiple times per room–but any given saving throw result of 1 may only be re-rolled once. E.g., on round one, you roll a 1 for a Will save. You invoke the power of this charm and get a 12 on the re-roll. On round 2, you have to make a Will save again. You roll a 1 and choose to re-roll it. Unfortunately, you get a 1 again and automatically fail because no matter what your saving throw bonus is, a natural 1 always fails.

Basically you cannot re-roll consecutive 1's.
You either discover a star or you don't. You arrogant punk.

It working correctly in practice the tooltip is old and hasn't been updated. I'll update on the next release.
