You show all your treasure enhancers to someone specific at the front and take them out of the casing. That person verifies the tokens are legit and signs and dates a sticker/note/document that is good for the day or con. Then in training you have to show the tokens and verification to the coach, but don't have to take them out of their casing.

You still need to get the TE's inspected to prove they aren't fake. But you only have to do it once a day/event.

Someone could get their real ones verified twice and then let someone use the second verification with fake tokens. I know the odds of that should be low, but it is a way around the system. Having them checked at both ends is the best way to avoid any shady activity.

I feel like if someone were going to abuse fake TE tokens, they would be doing it during VTD, not in person. Visual check over a computer monitor vs. an in person check.

The issue was I individuals loaning their treasure enhancers out to several groups all running at the same time for a cut of the treasure pulls.....hence the desire to have the players carry them through the dungeon.
Fall down......Go boom!

I'm going to be in the minority - but I would love to find something I can use in the smaller 4-ring binders. Since I only ever carry for myself, being able to just add my TEs and other capsule'd tokens in the same case would be amazing.

EDIT: I mightu have a solution - we'll find out in a couple days.... :)

Not exactly what I was hoping for, but enough that I think I'll keep it. With only carrying TEs for me and a small number of RFID tokens it works well enough so that I'm not carrying around two binders.

The square capsules I snagged fit too closely to accommodate the RFID tokens, but since I have them, I'll use them for my TEs. All others that I get capsuled will just stay in their respective TD provided ones.

This seems like the antithesis of “have your tokens ready for inspection” which I think was the last Live Standard Dungeon guidance I saw. Hold and feel, means you need to take them out of the sleeve, and then out of the case.

They look beautiful.
