I think I said something like, out of 240, I have 0 plate mail. It's causing me to want to buy more. I wonder why...

Makes me wonder what that 41st Rare is you're referring to below ;/

Here's the results of the 50 random Rare pull:

Got 0: 11 tokens

Got 1: 16 tokens

Got 2: 10 tokens

Got 3: 2 tokens

Got 4: 2 tokens

It looks pretty random to me, but I would like to read what Douglas thinks.

Thanks again for all the input on the tokens!

Human beings don't judge randomness well at all. We all seem to believe that random is more orderly than it actually is. One reason that casino's and the like make so much money. The words 'My system is perfect. Surely there's no way I could lose 12 hands in a row at blackjack.' and the like have been the downfall of many.

Funny you should mention Vegas...

I had a college roomie that came up with a way to bank on the randomness of the roulete wheel.

We went there to try it out and the guy at the table asked us to stop...why - because it would have worked!

I think I know a little bit about randomness...but again, just wanted to see if there was a need to improve more than just multiple commons in a bag.

I would be VERY interested to hear about this method.

I'd tell ya - but I'm sure that would just open a can of worms...

Can ya trust me that we practiced it, studied it, and went to Vegas to try it, and the guy at the table said we had to stop it...

Gary, was your system grabbing the marble and putting it on your number? Yeah, they frown in that in Vegas. Go figure. =)

As a stats major I would love to hear about this as well. I can count cards and have precise knowledge of odds for poker and blackjack but roulette is a game of chance and unless you find a casino that has bad payout balancing (unlikely) you cant bet on combinations of numbers that will pay out since you will win 90-95% of your money back. (at normal casinos)
