Thanks for asking for feedback, Jeff! This is what makes True Dungeon cooler than cool: knowing that you care about what the fans think, instead of just the bottom line. You rock!

My Golden Ticket will not be devalued by you offering more GTs or Silver Tickets at the same rarity as before.

I agree that if the chance of getting a Silver Ticket is greater than the chance of a GT was, then people could rightly be annoyed. I like the concept, though, and really hope you go ahead with it.

I'd even probably buy one last batch of tokens (Hey, Lady Myke - wanna do another split??) for the slim chance of winning a SilverTicket for her.

It would probably have to be the 16 STs in a half-order of tokens to get me to order again, since there's no way I'm going to order as many as the first wave.

Sorry, I am on springbreak or I would have gotten in on the Golden Ticket debate.

I am very glad you didn't add more gold tickets (even though that means I will not get one). I think it is better for long term player happiness not to change a plan (at least not to change one after it has actually started). Changing a plan after a couple of days of forum feedback is wise but not when the promotion is nearly complete.

I do like the idea of a silver ticket, and there is a chance I might buy more tokens to get one. maybe, if I can just sell some more trains.

Thanks for the feedback gamers! It was all very thoughtful and well considered. I knew it would be a good idea to get your feedback.

First, one thing I wanted to make clear about the 4C thing. There was no ethical breach there. Just a screw up on my part, and once I was made aware of the situation, it was fixed.

- - - - - - - -

Okay...no more Golden Tickets in the second batch. I don't want to make them less cool.

As far as a Silver Ticket? Hmm...I don't know. I don't want it to be too gimmicky -- but it would be nice to have some thing special in the second batch of tokens.

Can everyone chime in one more time and give their idea for a Silver Ticket? Here is one idea:

16 tickets spread out among a "half-order" of tokens (thus double the chance of getting a GT)

-- Good for a FREE special 8:00/8:01pm run on Thursday night
-- All players under the effects of The Horn of Plenty without having to wear one
-- Special 10-pack at start (contains 1 UR, 1 Combo Token, 8 Rares) that comes in a cool pouch

BTW, the GT runs will be like the above Silver Ticket...only BETTER.

Feedback?

Cool.

Now, I want that GT....Grrrrrr

Okay, we will do only one Silver Ticket run of 8 players divided into a "half-order" of tokens. That will have the same distribution as the Golden Tickets.

We will probably just keep the Silver Ticket run at 8:00pm (puzzle) on Thursday. I don't want to delay the tear down at all, and I think it is cooler being on Thursday. People who can't make it can always sell their token (and buy more tokens, of course).

I will try to make each of the GT and ST runs a lot of fun and special. I have a few surprises up my sleeve.

Is 8pm on Thursday a bubble time in the schedule?

Kim

Nope. It is a normal time and it will be taken out of the schedule, so there is no impact to the volunteers.
I will try to make each of the GT and ST runs a lot of fun and special. I have a few surprises up my sleeve.

Will the surviving player inherit True Dungeon? Will that creepy guy (Mr Slugworth) be one of the monsters? Will there be Oompa Loompas? Will the DM's be dressed as Oompa Loompas? If so I may be working admin this year. =D

As far as increasing the number of GTs and STs, I think that is a great idea for next year. I think that twice as many GTs and twice as good a chance of getting one would be great!

I'm not so sure. The rarity of them is the best way to go. I think it should be 16 of each next year with 11 of each in the first batch and 5 of each in the second batch. That way, no matter when you buy, you run roughly the same chance of getting one and most people won't get one at all.
