TOPIC: 2009 Token Suggestions GO HERE!!!

:jacked:<br />  I am going to totally go off in left-field and suggest some tokens that would be<br />fun and collectable to those of us silly enough to covet them.  I know I have suggested<br />these before in another discussion, but seeing as how the Greek/Roman-ish theme is running<br />amok, I figured now was the time.  Following the idea of a "Philosopher's Stone", a lead to gold <br />token would definately take care of some of my common tokens (grappling hooks, etc.), but <br />I had another idea.  Here are a few I would love to see!<br />1. "Water to Rum"<br />2. "Honey to Mead"<br />  Combine those with a "Mug of Everfull" (I have the real thing!) and "Cody's Bitchin' Chapeau"<br />the possibilities would be endless!  <br /><br />Yarrrghgh!  :icon_pirat:

<br />Okay, While I don't think this will be done because: <br />1) TD has probably already destroyed the leftover 2008 URs (unless there are still tokens to be sold).<br />2) I doubt Jeff would re-print this exact token.<br />3) Those who do not own this token already probably don't have the ingredients to make it.<br /><br />However, with all the current tokens in play, I thought this sounded like a nice Combo item.<br /><br /><br />Combo Item:  Widseth's Lute<br />10x Masterwork Bard's Instrument<br />1x Boots of Free Action<br />1x Oil of Enchantment<br />10x Silver Bell<br />2x Silver Blessing Charm<br />300 (or 500) GP in value (price varies on whether this is a UR and an exact replica of Widseth's Lute or if perhaps it's toned down somehow)<br /><br />Possible ingredient instead of Bells:  <br />100 Electrum Pieces (200 GP worth of Electrum to be the flute's alloy...or perhaps that's what the silver bells are for?)<br /><br /><br />It just seemed like we now have all the right ingredients to make this particular UR combo.<br /><br /><br /><br />

Combo UR:  Girdle of Fire Giant Strength<br />-2 damage from Fire<br />+2 damage from Cold  (possible balance to the fire resistance)<br />STR:  to balance the game, probably one notch less (as far as Plus To Hit and Plus to Damage goes) than the Hill Giant STR token (although the old DMG has the Fire Giant at significantly higher STR).<br /><br /><br />Could be a Combo or something<br />

<br /><br />Yes, but that only works if you're <br /><br />A.  Lucky enough to be able to get a full block of tickets and the group of people beforehand<br />B.  Able to come to an equitable agreement.  Not everyone will necessarily abide by such things, not to mention it takes up precious time to do such.<br />

<br /><br />There's nothing to challenge - if the rule says highest-level player gets to choose, or a roll-off in case of a tie between players, then that's what would happen.  The player(s) who doesn't get to use the Medallion just puts on his or her HoP or AoW (I'm thinking someone with a Medallion would have other URs).<br />

<br />Medallion of Stewardship <br /><br />Wearer may play a duplicate class(one that has already been choosen). Limit one per party.<br /><br />Druridic Ritual Stones <br />

  Multiple classes were once suggested a year or two ago and the idea did not go over well.  In fact, some people were almost downright hostile in their rejection of the idea.

Combo Item:<br /><br />Commando Dagger:  Requires 5 normal daggers as part of the ingredients, is a +1 throwing dagger that returns to the user after each attack and it grants the user one free strike at the beginning of any combat, but only with that dagger.  If the user is carrying no other equipment it grants +1 to all saving throws.    <br /><br /><br />Take care and have a great day....<br /><br /><br /><br />ciao,<br />john.<br /><br /><br />PS  It also grants +20 to the Coolness of the User!

Portable Hole:  Protects all equipment not worn are being carried in hand (or in sashes) from all damage.  It would basically be a glorified combination alchemist's pouch/bone scrool tube with a really high coolness factor!<br /><br />Bag of Holding:  Same as above with only a slightly less coolness factor.<br /><br />And, the two could be combined as a consumable token that would instantly kill any monster in the room!

I'd buy one if you could turn the bag of holding inside out and walk through a wall with it.
