TOPIC: New Character Sheet Generator File

Please wait.....I'm more than willing and able to fix any issues with the spreadsheet.  The problem isn't that the drop down is set incorrectly, it's that the number of weapons exceeded the max I set the hidden columns of the spreadsheet to pull.  I'm fixing the issue and will be posting the correction in just a bit.  <br /><br />Mather, please keep advising me of corrections to what class can use what token.  I've updated the Plate Armor of Absorption and am double checking the tokens.<br /><br /><br />

More than glad to be patient, I guess I am guilty of being a programmer who likes to figure out the code as much as learn from it.  This powerful spreadsheet has been an inspiration for me to learn more about Excel.

Updated file (6/22/2009) is now available:<br /><br />- Fixed the line 56 restriction (I finally understood the earlier post about it) that caused longer drop down lists to truncate<br />- Fixed Plate Armor of Absorption to include the Paladin as an approved class<br />- Added Wands to the Special drop down lists<br />- Double-checked all selectable token entries.  Hopefully I haven't missed anything.<br /><br />Thanks for your input and support.<br /><br />Updated link:<br /><br /> True Dungeon Character Generator

WOW!!  That's an awesome utility.  Thanks for putting so much work into it.  Definitely going to make pimping my character a lot easier.

I haven't checked it out yet, but...<br /><br />if this is as good as everyone's "wow"s seem to indicate, I'd ask Jeff if the thread could be Stickeyed somewhere so it doesn't get lost.<br />In addition, if it's still being done, the True Fan web site might be a good place to ask that this be hosted.<br /><br />JKW

I second that motion. This was really "wow" for two reasons. Not only did it showcase Amorgen's exceptional excel expertise in making something useful, but also his commitment in keeping it updated for nothing more than the thank yous of this board.<br /><br />Once again Amorgen, thank you for the very cool file.  :notworthy:
