Is there any sarcasm here?

MoMM wizards certainly got an unfavorable ruling, but MEC Wizards got to maintain a +15hp kilt that now adds to Eldritch bonus.

None at all. Not having the duplicated healing available means that blast-y types have to be more judicious in their use of MEC, or spend more consumables. The Kilt is a completely unrelated issue (that I 100% agree with you on: I think Wizards are one of the few groups that came out of the Kilt discussion somewhat happy).

Wade Schwendemann wrote: I think this was agreed upon by TPTB, but either I am mistaken, or there has been a revision.

Wade - I think this is pretty clearly a revision. Back on October 8 Druegar added the following to Jeff’s FINAL Notes post:

Druegar wrote:
*** This a change to the rule announced early. We are doing it this way to keep it simple -- and treating it just like other "Use with a Free Action" items. This is being done to avoid conflicts and to keep the rules streamlined. (edited 10/08/18)

He also went back and edited his post earlier in this thread from a few weeks ago:

Druegar wrote: If you have a Medallion of Mystic Mouth , you will only have to place your primary wand on the combat board. The insta-swapped wand token is not consumed by using Medallion of Mystic Mouth, but still must be shown to the DM. At the end of the combat, only the primary wand token is consumed.

This change hasn't been put in the TDb yet because the rules changeover won't happen until Origins 2019.

So much zigging and zagging on wands the last two years. And at least three of the wand-related changes (including this latest) were made rather quietly without comment after the token sets were finalized for the year. Last year the Conductor’s Charm became the Charm of the Sage at the last minute and the IS Fluorite Cube mysteriously went from +3 to +2. Of course that’s Jeff’s right (I’m still astonished he lets us participate in the discussion at all!). But so much zigging and zagging...

I thought this was settle a while back.

Is that decision being redone?

I didn’t forget. It’s hard to feel sorry for Druids when they got their class relic/legendary.

That doesn't make too much sense, as every class is going to get one, it's not some perk the Druids get over everyone else. Plus, the Wizards are able to use the UR version of it. We'll see if the Druids are able to use the UR version of the Wizards Class token.

Probably when I get home from work I’ll post a trade thread and see if I can trade off or sale my wands, MoMM, ISFC

if someone is a play each dungeon once player then the mystic mouth and close to 100 wands will last years and at 2 per room is fine. But I played somewhere between 16 and 18 runs this year so mystic mouth is a poor choice with that much play. I’ll link this form to the trade thread so it doesn’t look like I’m trying to trick anyone.

I like this a lot actually, please be so.

I don't recall seeing anything specific about a Legendary neck piece for wizards. I think Jeff mentioned the Barbarian, Monk and one other class but still left it a bit open for the others. I would have to find the post though.

Rob - here is the quote from Jeff in the first post of the 2019 “FINAL Notes” thread about the neckslot being used for all class specific legendaries except Bard and Paladin:

SPECIAL NOTE about Relics and Legendaries

Now that every class has at least a few generic legendary tokens, starting in 2019 we will be producing class specific ones. Every Relic and Legendary class specific token, barring some thematic exceptions will occupy the neck slot so as not to interfere with any previous Eldritch items. The two classes that will not be in the neck slot are the Bard and Paladin. This puts all the classes on a roughly even slot impact basis. I hope you like the new 2019 legendaries for the Bard, Druid, & Rogue! Next year we plan on Neck slot items for the Barbarian, Monk and Ranger -- while the +2 Holy Avenger (from 2019) can be transmuted up to a +5 Holy Avenger! We wanted to add the +2 Holy Avenger in this year -- since Paladins will be venturing into the Infernal Pit!

Thanks for the repost. Wonder how the Paladin will fair. Looks like the other classes will have a cool thematic Legendary neck slot (or lute in the Bard's case) and access to a legendary weapon/baton. Paladin will only have the Legendary weapon, no cool neck item.

Druids get it now. Cleric’s is at least two years away.

Will probably end up mulching the wands I have. No sense in using them on runs. Possibly save a handful for True Grinds but that will be it.

Will convert the elf wizard, wizard and bard into single cast then murdering hobo beat-down hammer wielding thugs when I run.

If you decide to mulch I would like to trade philosophers Stones for them instead, might make this stuff easier to sale the more wands I have.

I think a lot of people playing other classes would love for their item to be in a non-neck slot.

But...each rare wand will probably sell for as much as the philosopher stone that 4 mulch into.

I’m thinking on this a bit more. I can use the mystic mouth for just the free action wand, then use as my standard action Thor’s Hammer, it might be better damage anyways.
