I'm catching up on PMs now. If you order from my website (preferably especially if you get a lot of tokens), please choose "Local Pickup" and leave me a comment with your phone number. I'll reply with mine as well.

We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

I'll be posting an update tomorrow and contacting all of my pending trades so you know where to find me on Wednesday afternoon/evening.

Meanwhile, keep in mind that the vast majority of my tokens will be left at home when I'm at GenCon so if you want something let me know now. I go straight from work to the airport on Tuesday.

I do have a ton of sealed 2015 token packs I could bring with me if you need any. I wanted to share my process on how I end up with these:

1) For each $8k order I open 10-packs until I find a Golden Ticket (if any). My assumption is I won't have more than one Golden Ticket in an order (although I know at least one person who has had this, but I'll take my chances).

2) I also open any 10-packs that aren't sealed well.

3) I then go through the remaining packs (possibly from more than one order) and sort them by rares to try to make complete sets. I sell these complete sets of 40 10-packs (one of each rare) for about $180 after discount.

4) I then sell the remaining 10-packs at (currently) $5/ea. These most likely do NOT have a Golden Ticket or Mithral Coin of Fate, but they should have the normal chance for an ultra-rare. They are fairly random, although from step #3 sometimes I will have one or two rares that are my limiting factor and therefore they won't be in the random set.

For the random packs I do try to make sure you don't get all of the same rare. I am also open to small requests on the rare (e.g. I really want a +1 Drow Blood Mace) which I will fulfill if I can but I try not to dilute the pool for everybody else (e.g. I won't give you five Earcuffs of Vitality). I also won't dig through all of my packs to fulfill a request, but if I can find one or two you really want without too much effort then I'll include it.

Got it! Anybody who placed as of late last night has their order packed and should have been contacted with info on where to meet up. Everybody who ordered today (and there are a lot of you, thanks!) I'll work on tonight, expect to hear from me soon.

I'll be doing the vast majority of my trades in the token trading area (food court near halls b/c) from 2PM-4PM and then from 7PM-9PM.

Does this mean you order the non-condensed 8k orders?

If so, do most 8k packs have golden tickets or do you end up spending a lot of time opening multiple sets of 960 packs just to find no golden tickets? I understand there are only 40 golden tickets per year, but without knowing print run size, I don't really know their frequency. Is it about 1 per 960 packs? Maybe 1 per 1000?

My guess is that it is about one in 1500 packs. I'd say about 2/3 of my $8k orders had one.

This year I bought consolidated packs first and then the regular version as well.
