TOPIC: TD Tavern Tokens for Sale (post #1)

I have traded and purchased from TDtavern and am happy with the deals that went down.

As far as I'm concerned, he's a reputable source and a sound businessman. Of course he's not going to offer you what he's going to sell it for...

And to second/third/etc what everyone else has said here:
-always check around and know what your product is worth before trying to offload it
-you don't have to take the deal he's offered you, you can always counter or try somewhere else.

I like to compare prices from a few places (ebay, trent, discount, TDtavern, forums) before trying to buy/sell/trade any of my tokens. From what I've seen, some of his prices are higher than others and some are lower, which makes sense when you read his entry on his pricing system.

Late to the party here but in my opinion Kirk you do not owe anyone any information on how you conduct your business, it's yours and your "business". You shared more than you need to in this thread. If some moaner gripes about a price being too high on a token they can shop elsewhere, no one is forcing them to buy from you. You obviously know how to run a good operation, keep doing what you do!.

Very few things infuriate me these days but this is one of those issues that do. I really cannot stomach complainers that see everything through the "unfair prism" and suddenly feel that they are entitled to an explanation while putting you on trial. Never buckle to these buffoons, the only thing that they are entitled to is our scorn.

I have dealt with Kirk more times than I can count and a few months ago he gave me an incredibly amazing Trade on a Big token I wanted that brought me some joy during a tough time. Kirk is always a man of his word, always upfront and very reasonable. Noobs, don't ever hesitate to deal with Kirk/TD Tavern, it's a True Dungeon rite of passage.

As you can see from the previous post, and if you peruse the first three posts and/or tdtavern.com, TD Tavern has had some big changes in pricing transparency.

• Kirk's personal token collection is no longer co-mingled with the store inventory which previously resulted in some tokens being listed at excessive prices (effectively allowing buyers to purchase items out of my build causing me to replace it or change my build)
• If we have a token that we are willing to sell but due to either (1) very limited availability or (2) other special circumstances we know the price would be unreasonable we will no longer show a price but instead you must contact us for pricing.
• If our supply is very limited and/or there is limited market data and/or the price has been set by a third-party consignment seller, it will be clearly marked as such here in the forum as well as on the website (note this is currently a semi-manual process so you'll see more use of this as the automation is completed)
• Finally, as we try to find a balance between two conflicting goals (having everything in stock AND having competitive pricing), you will see some items out of stock but you'll also see more competitive pricing.

As an additional note, when shopping on tdtavern.com you will now see the correct image for every token, rather than the standard tokendb image that might not reflect the specific year of the token you are purchasing.
