I'm not sure I've mentioned this before, but I really appreciate tha tyou keep all of this in one thread. It's a personal pet peeve when people create multiple threads to advertise their sales or whatever. We all win when scrolling is kept to a minimum.

thank you. the idea was to not clutter up the forum with a bunch of old threads. when i decided to start the auction house, i was thinking long term and wanted to try and keep things simple/neat. =D

It might be spiffy to make a 'summary' post to the thread whenever an auction ends though. At least that way you would have a record of the final prices.

I'm still not sure what exactly is in my 'mystery box' that you passed over at TR. I wish I had jotted it down somewhere. Of course, I could just open it and find out, but somehow that seems like too much effort.

Yeah what Jerks... *coughcough*

Honestly though I have definitely gotten more PMs when I have created a seperate thread for a sale versus only putting it up in my regualr thread. I think that is because there are some people, old and new, that don't care enough to read every token sale thread whereas a title with a specific token name will catch their eye. I can understand though it would be mildly annoying to folks who thoroughly read every thread. I'll keep that in mind and try not to over do it.

On an unrelated topic, smak what was the magic item that use to be inside the paladin pouch? I've only been around since 2007 and haven't played a paladin until this year. Just curious.

Yeah what Jerks... *coughcough*

You're hardly the only offender, nor even the most egregious one considered over time. Plenty of others do it for the exact same reason, because it brings more attention. I figure it to be a case of the problem of the commons. If we all took that point of view, this place would be full of those types of threads. That's why it's good to acknowledge someone like smak who manages to restrain himself.

At least nowadays, most people usually keep to one or two trade threads apiece. It used to be that a single person would create 4-5 a year, listing their trade reqs and a few stilll do so.

what does the item do?
