I did say "infinite resources." And time is a resource, so...

I have never heard that military adage before, but I really like it!

All,

Thanks for the great discussion on this subject. There are some good points made here.

Ultimately, I'd like to continue mostly as we have done in the past...with one slight change. I'll ask folks to rate on a scale of 1-5 how much they really want to play the class they signed up for. That way perhaps some folks that really want to play a "taken" class can see how much the current holder desires it, too. Perhaps a swap could be worked out between the two via PM?

Thank you all again for your input.

Based upon Jeff's statement, can we just change the GT subscription thread (where you post when you have received a GT) to say:

"To request a GT slot please select the desired run and either puzzle/combat. Then choose 3 classes in order of your preference (e.g. Wizard -> Cleric -> Barbarian) and include a response from 1 to 5 for the first class on how much you desire playing it (5 being high desire - 1 being low desire).

For example: Wizard [2] -> Cleric -> Barbarian

Because the desire is only a 2 this would give other players interesting in playing a Wizard information and they could potentially work a class trade via PM before the event. Remember the goal of TD is to have fun and if someone has your 1st class preference start a discussion if you would really like to play that class."

I think that makes a lot of sense.

It still requires people to directly ask someone to change, which isn't easy for some people, but it also forces each person to say to themselves, "just how important is this to me?"

I will be ecstatic if I'm in a position to use whatever process deemed appropriate. Since I don't expect that to happen, I'm somewhat neutral, but think you suggestion makes perfect sense.

Crazy question, where do the golden ticket tokens appear if you got lucky enough to get one? Do they replace the rare? Are they like Ultra Rare tokens and they replace a common?

I got one consolidated pack and one huge pile of 10 packs  so just wondering how much I want to break down now vs later?

Not a crazy question. Odd to attach it to this thread, but I guess it works. It replaces a common. If it replaces the rare it would be too easy to tell which pack it is in because the rare is now always on top.

In the condensed packs I found mine in the red bag with the rares and random URs.

As mentioned, they replace a common in the uncondensed packs.
