TOPIC: True Dungeon Teams Up with Worldbuilders

Cool, but since there isn't to show up at one's door for the Play with a Friend prize, someone will have to contact someone about it at some point.

Unless they send out a code that gets you into the world builder group, that seems dicey to me....but what do I know

Worldbuilders prizes come when they come, as noted above. I've gotten WB prizes from March to May.

The operative question seems to be whether TD is doing the drawing for the TD-specific prizes, and if so, when. And also whether whoever is doing the TD-specific prize drawing will notify people of the win/inbound package, which is something Worldbuilders doesn't typically do.

I'm pretty sure I saw something about TD sending the prizes to world builders, so I think world builders is handling the drawing. Can't remember where I saw that though, might have been in a Rothfuss stream.

Thanks for the info. I guess we'll find out when we find out. Although as someone noted, people invited to the free run need to be told.

Keep in mind that a single person can win more than one prize.

At least one of the drawings has to be done before mid january (with notification.) Note that worldbuilders is a group dropdown for the next virtual TD for a slot...

I received a WB prize a couple years ago. I believe it arrived mid-January, as I was able to take it to PAX South 2018.

I click the link below, then click below events (world builders run),and this is what pops up next...
"you supported WB and won one of 5 TD with a friend"

does everyone get this message or did I win?

Jeff, Congrats, I think you won! Here's the message I get. "Only for Worldbuilders Fundraising Group group"

I think you have to click on the event name to see the "you won" message. I see the message about winning even if I'm not logged in, so it looks like it's a default message displayed to everyone who clicks on the event.

Jeff, sorry, I was wrong about that one. Once I followed Iross's advice, I also got the "You supported the Worldbuilders fundraiser and you've won one of 5 "True Dungeon With A Friend" prizes! Congratulations! These tickets are held for the 10 lucky winners of the "True Dungeon With A Friend" prize" message.
