I got my Auris Honeycomb in the mail today with a nice letter. Hopefully everyone else should be getting theirs soon. Please know I am in Wisconsin so my mail turn around time will at least be 1 day better then most forum users for this.

i want to apologize if his has already been touched on, but something struck me as odd...maybe?

TD donated a bunch of tokens for the WB's fundraiser (thank you TD). these prizes go into a giant pot with other donated prizes to be given out to the wonderful people that donate. as prizes are drawn from the pot names are drawn to determine who they go to...or vice/versa. the question that comes to mind is this.

of all the folks that donate, is it possible that TD prizes can o to folks that have not heard of TD? and once your name is drawn for a prize, does your name go back and make you eligible for other drawings?

and I believe i did receive my prize. I got 5 token ten packs (50 tokens).

I got this update today from my email.

Hey Bari,

The honeycombs were sent out separately.

Apologies that your prize looks to be missing the the rest of your Treasure token and Kvothe Coin. We'll make sure you get that promptly!
Best,

I checked my informed delivery page, and there is a package from Worldbuilders on it now. I am expecting a honeycomb so that must be if.

TL;DR - TD prizes should go to those donating to the TD team (based on how they've handled things historically). Each $10 donated gives you one entry to both the team and main lottery, but if your name is drawn from either hat it is not returned to said hat.

I will disclaim that this is not an official response nor do I know how this year/team was handled, but..

In the past when teams had their own specific themes and prizes those who donated to that specific team would be eligible for them, but those who donated to another team or to Worldbuilders as a whole would not. For every $10 you donated you would be entered into the main lottery regardless, though you would choose which items you wanted to be considered for (e.g. books, games, jewelry, JoCo Cruise tickets). Though it is certainly possible tokens could have made their way into the general lottery, Worldbuilders has historically noted that TD is a bit more niche and keeps True Dungeon-related prizes to auctions or a True Dungeon team page to ensure prizes go to those who will appreciate them. Mostly, my expectation would be that all TD-donated tokens, other than the few that may have made their way into the auctions, will be dispersed to those donating to the True Dungeon team page directly.

As to the second, donating to any team gives you an entry for every $10 donated as well as the main lottery. If you donated $30 for a Honeycomb, you'd had three entries in both the True Dungeon drawings and the Worldbuilders lottery. These are separate buckets, so if you win something in the WB lottery it won't impact your three entries on True Dungeon, but you will only have two more entries left in the WB bucket.

I too have a package coming from WB's. Though it could be the rest of my 'prize' I am guessing it is honeycombs. We shall see.

So then hopefully in a week or two I'll get a note from USPS asking me to come pay forwarding shipping on a package from WB that got sent to my old house.

Two packages from Woldbuilders were in our mailbox (Chicago) today. Appreciate the suggestion to go check! Mine had the 10 Auri's Honeycombs and 1 Taborlin's Key that were promised with my level of donation. Can't comment on the package addressed to my husband, as he isn't home to open it.

I'm not thrilled about how long it took Woldbuilders to ship the prize, but I did eventually receive what I was supposed to get. It would have been nice if they'd put the guaranteed tokens in with the general prizes + TD raffle prizes, instead of sending two packages--that would have saved on shipping, and caused less confusion, I think.

I received my honeycomb's and Key today. What's interesting is the letter that came with them congratulated me for wining one of the prizes. But I didn't. Because it was just the honeycomb's and the Key. It's nice the Tokens came. But I doubt I'll be donating to WB again.

Well, it looks like a package was initiated from Worldbuilders to me on Saturday. I also live in Wisconsin, but the latest update says USPS in Illinois is still waiting for the item. It looks like the package will probably drive by my house (almost literally) enroute to Illinois only to eventually turn around and head back this way. Guess I can't blame WB for that.

Anyone who says they might not donate to WB again, you know if a unique token is offered that you will do it. But I can say I donated a little above what was needed to get my honeycomb. It is doubtful I would do that again.

Do the two of you have plans for every Auri's token?
