TOPIC: 2023 Golden Ticket Sign-Ups

Not sure how important this is. Yeah, I will likely need to hold off on some ticket purchases until I know, but I'm not too worried at this point. Sorry if I come across as if this is some critical issue. It falls mostly into the category of being an annoyance. That, and I'm retired and have way too much time on my hands to bug people about things.

Right now, I just kind of assume they are trying to finalize volunteer schedules and get confirmation around which options they have for the GT runs. It's either that or they're just way too busy with other things.

Given no announcement to the contrary, and the GHC Patron event on Wednesday night, I would assume Thursday morning of GHC will be the GT run.

That's kind of my assumption as well. I know there's only 1 year of GT history at GHC, but it still seems like its the easiest choice from a scheduling perspective.

Thursday 730p Saturday might make sense as well. The nights don’t end so late as to preclude GT runs. I agree establishing a time is important.

I wouldn’t say it is important due to the refund process with GHC - event tickets aren’t normally a lot of money nd most will use system credit later. The bigger concern is blocking out special events. Since you can only have 2 specials and they are hard to get into,

Thursday 11a GT run blocks out all events until 130p. Some big ones are in there: heir to orcus, assault on war moons (Mearls - star frontiers), CoC w Mike Mason, and Ebberon with Baker (leaving out several others.) All things being equal, Thurs morn isn’t as bad for conflicts as nighttime, though. Losing games in the gamehole would be unfortunate.

With how quickly the runs sold out to Patrons at GHC, would there be any chance that one of the runs might switch to Treasure Goblin at all?

Wasn't sure if it was possible or if there was even any interest in that.

I'd second Treasure goblin over Crimson Isle since I won't be able to get into any grinds most likely.

Just curious if slot Q at GenCon have the limit of 3 treasure draws or 4 treasure draws if you are 6th level?

+1 that way every TD run offered at GHC is available as a golden ticket run. Similar to what GenCon is now.

I like the idea of grind as an option for GHC. The challenge is there is already a 2pm grind run. That would force the GT grind to start at around 1215p - about an hour earlier than the other runs.
