One caution - It's only offered 10 times throughout the weekend (2-4 times per day). I do worry about VIGs buying out some of these runs and making them very difficult for others to get.

I think VIG's should definitely be limited to one ticket per person at most. Maybe since it is only 100 tickets they should all be first come first served though.

gameholecon apparently posted on discord a while back that true dungeon tickets are not being held back from registration this Saturday.

Those that want to limit ticket purchase should voice that on discord and emailing gameholecon to see if they can change that decision.

With the extremely high demand we foresee on this event - I’d like to see it limited to one run per player much like how the JeffoGorgon events were back in the day. It may not be feasible with the GHC ticket system - but with the # of players looking to run this event I think a lot of people are going to miss out.

It's potentially a mess. Unless system constraints are put in place, I wouldn't expect people to self-police themselves to 1 ticket. People will want to put multiple runs in their wishlist in case they don't get their first choice. People will want to buy tickets for friends who aren't VIGs. Groups will want to make sure they can run together.

I am so, so happy this is being done, but yeah, it's unfortunate we don't have a lot of time to prepare. At this point, I don't know what existing system constraints they have available and don't think they have time to develop and test anything new. I guess if they flagged these as special events VIGs would be limited to 2 tix (including any other special events that interest them).

And then again, maybe the fears are being overstated and everything will work out just fine.

I like the flavor, that you're chasing a Goblin with a bunch of treasure through a gauntlet, and apparently you catch him at the end since everyone gets a pile of treasure. :)

It is making me take pause before buying out a slot on the VIG on-sale.

One rule for Grind this time that may be important would be no ghosting. That would allow more players to participate.

Honestly I'd say go for it. Buying out slots is probably still the only way you can ensure the difficulty you want, and its not like you're not going to bring other people to use those tickets.

Yes, honestly better in your hands Fred, at least your here on the forums and can coordinate to fill the slots.

Grind is really one of the few times where I'm all for vets buying up all the tickets. You wouldn't want a newbie to come to grind thinking they are buying a ticket for a regular TD run.

Buying the 10 tix for a single run isn't the issue. In the past, it was normal for some groups to buy multiple full slots and play 2 or 3 time throughout the weekend. If VIGs did that, there might not be any left for the rest of us.

100% accurate. I highly doubt any tickets will be left after vig onsale.

There are 12 character classes. Maybe increase each True Grind run to include all 12 character classes - Full Bore! That would add 20 more spots for people. :)
