Although this is a small fine tuning with regards to "rule changes" I think the precedent we should establish is that we don't change anything after the draft. Currently we only have 4 members of the league chiming in as it is. Consider this the first topic of rule change in the off season. We can keep a running list here or start a separate thread for rules discussion for the 2025 season.

Greg, there is no way to manipulate the status of IR/PUP/OUT inside of the yahoo settings.

I am pretty sure with Kansas City playing tomorrow night it is the kick off of Taylor Swift season! On a more serious note it will be good to see the league starting back up.

I would have been fine with 2 IR slots as well. Something to change for next year.

Point of discussion prior to the 2025 season. On Monday Mike was unable to replace CMC prior to the MNF game. Per the previous rules of the league here was the option offered by Tony at the time (see the forum thread from 2022 league year)

Also as a general announcement (which I will do on the yahoo message board also) - since yahoo does Saturday at midnight waiver wire which doesn't allow a reaction to a surprise injury report. I will do a last minute swap at a cost of 2 fab if it includes a player to drop who has not played that week and the player to pickup who has not played that week if made to the league message board on yahoo before ANY of the games involving the players start. Any questions?

I stuck with this as we have carried over rules from previous seasons. Mike did not have a player that hadn't played to drop in order to pick up the 3rd string RB from San Fran, Isaac Geurendo (Jordan Mason was already rostered by Al). Thankfully that did not factor in the outcome of that matchup.

I don't suspect the NFL will crack down on injury reporting rules between now and next season. I'm not exactly sure the resolution here, but we don't want people potentially getting screwed by bad/questionable injury reporting. Hopefully this is an isolated incident. However, please be prepared to have players ready to sub if this should occur again. This rule will persist through the season to keep it the same for everyone.

I think for a Monday night game it is appropriate, because there really isn't any chance to pickup or play anyone else. Especially when the world was told he would play, now he might not play at all this season.

Here is an update of the weekly high scores:

Weekly High Scores for extra tokens through Week 6.

Week 1: Silver Championship Passage setting the initial high water mark with 139.68 and a solid win over Tano's Tumblers.

Week 2: Of Goblins and Gibbs Gubs with 139.12 narrowly edges out the Dark Foest Druids at 137.74 for high score of the week.

Week 3: Dresdens Wizards resets the high mark with a monstrous 164.88. Scrael Bait was the next closest and still more than 20 points behind with 142.16.

Week 4: Tano's Tumblers joins the weekly winners with a 139.76 victory over Dresdens Wizards.

Week 5: With a 165.96 Tano's Tumblers becomes the first team with two weekly high scores and reset's the high water mark.

Week 6: Scrael Bait makes the 5th team with the high weekly score thanks to a healthy 150.86 point win.

Let's PYPs for the token order. We have 5 coming. What do we want? Is it 5 Beads of Greed? 3 Beads and 2 Greaves of Deflection? Slot expander with the Bead Bracelets or the slotless Picc's Grindstone also seem like universally good choices. I'm happy to order before 11/1 that way we can get the lot ASAP and know what's on the line for the season.

Pretty good parity so far with half the teams at 3-3, and only 1 team in each division with a losing record. Good luck this week to everyone.

I would vote for a little variety but Bead heavy - 3 beads, 1 Greaves, 1 Grindstone. That way there is a little variety if the Champ crosses over with division winner. But I’m good with whatever the group prefers

I think a variety is good.

I have no preference and I am fine with what ever you all decide.
