Weekly High Scores for extra tokens through Week 8.

Week 1: Silver Championship Passage setting the initial high water mark with 139.68 and a solid win over Tano's Tumblers.

Week 2: Of Goblins and Gibbs Gubs with 139.12 narrowly edges out the Dark Foest Druids at 137.74 for high score of the week.

Week 3: Dresdens Wizards resets the high mark with a monstrous 164.88. Scrael Bait was the next closest and still more than 20 points behind with 142.16.

Week 4: Tano's Tumblers joins the weekly winners with a 139.76 victory over Dresdens Wizards.

Week 5: With a 165.96 Tano's Tumblers becomes the first team with two weekly high scores and reset's the high water mark.

Week 6: Scrael Bait makes the 5th team with the high weekly score thanks to a healthy 150.86 point win.

Week 7: The Dark Forest Druids enter the ring with a 118.50 win, and the lowest winning score thus far.

Week 8: Of Goblins and Gibbs Gubs narrowly edging out The Cleveland Browncoats 143.26 to 141.06 to earn their second weekly win.

With six weeks left in the regular season there is still plenty of time for teams to make playoff runs, but Rachel's Detroit onslaught are starting to distance themselves as the team to beat.

So far we have just had a few roster issues that thankfully didn't impact the outcome of the matchups involved. I'm trying to be mindful of the message boards both here and on Yahoo. I could not find/confirm when the waivers actually process on Wed/Fri/Sun. A lengthy reddit thread suggested it's not consistent. Greg I'm sorry about the roster swap issue. I will say that I have had that happen to me playing fantasy BB and using the app. I have yet to have that issue when using yahoo through a web browser, so I think I would do that to be safe in the future.

Reminder that the trade deadline is Nov 16th.

I would still like to hear from a few more league members about tokens before ordering but it seems like variety is the odds on favorite.

I'd recommend 3 greaves and 3 beads of greed. Worst case, those should be easy to trade for whatever else people want.

I just had another thought. TD might be ok sending IOU PYP cards as part of the order then the winners could just pick what they want by redeeming the card with any order (they'd need to pay shipping.) I remember having those for when they ran short on something a few years ago. I'd recommend asking Grunnel - it might be ok. Not sure if that is too much trouble or not but worth looking into.

I'm in the same boat of being unlikely to win any. I'm currently 3-5 and have a slightly above average roster with nobody who puts up 25+ pts and every week I pick the wrong set of players to start. This is a strange season in that fate isn't ruining my odds - it's definitely me. No matter what I do, I get about 100 pts. Definitely using a different draft strategy next year.

Correct on just the 5 PYPs. I spoke with Mike who was indifferent about the selection. If PYP IOUs were not standard procedure I think it's fine to make selections on our own. Over half the league has voted and as they say, variety is the spice of life. We'll do 3 beads of greed, 1 grieves of deflection, 1 picc's grindstone and whatever the fates decide with our order.

Just a little separation last week but it's still very competitive for the playoff run. Of Goblins and Gibbs Gubs and the Lions continue to rack up the points as Rachel takes down another week with a 169.8 tally. This makes two weeks in a row and also resets the highest score. Congratulations to Rachel on crushing the regular season, it appears a new challenger has indeed entered the ring. Will the Detroit steamroller carry her through the playoffs? The winner of the first round match between Scrael Bait and the Dark Forest Druids will find out first hand. It was competitive right up to the end with 5 teams finishing at 6-8, just one spot out of the playoff race. Good luck to everyone in the playoffs.

I was happy to sneak into the playoffs this year but got buzz-sawed by Melissa. Indeed, she got her revenge from last year (as promised in one of the first posts of this thread.) Props for talking smack then entirely delivering on it!

I posted a pic and update of the tokens in the yahoo chat thread. If you scroll back to the middle of Nov you can see the pic We ended up with an extra Amulet of Folkvangr and a +2 baton of focus along with our PYPs.

Happy Holidays and congratulations to Rachel and Mark for making to the Superbowl. The concussion to Hurts made it dicey, but ultimately the regular season champ continues her winning ways by the narrowest of margins. Great season for the Browncoats but a tough exit. Hope everyone has a safe holiday and good luck in the Superbowl, which starts tomorrow!

Then best record who hasn't gotten a special yet

Mark gets 2 picks (Superbowl winner)
Rachel gets 3 picks (Superbowl runner up, Regular Season Total Points Champ, Highest seeded division winner)
Mark gets 1 pick (second highest seeded division winner)

I think most people will be good with the small USPS flat rate box, but a couple people who have won multiple weekly wins may needed the medium sized box.
