This sounds like an awesome event. Unfortunately, I can't attend Origins this year.

Not to put you on the spot, but I'm wondering if you are thinking of doing a similar event for Gen Con this year? If so, any idea which day/time it would be held? I'm working on my event Wish List now for Gen Con and I would leave a day/time open for this event if you are planning on having it.

Between the GT run and the craziness of GC, we were not planning on doing this at GC.

I do believe others are considering hosting something on Wednesday night of GenCon after the GT run.

Right, as Wade said, Gen Con is already packed pretty crazily with the Golden Ticket run and everything else, so there's really no easy slot (at least for me that is) to sponsor something like this.

However, we did a smaller version of this at PAX South and it was fun, so I suspect we'll do it again. And if all goes well at Origins I'll do it again this year. And I'm also sponsoring the Friday night free beer event at Gamehole Con again this year, so maybe we can do some poker fun after that too.

GHC after everyone is "lubricated" also sounds great.

I'll probably drop by if things aren't broken that evening. I am not sure I have 1000 GP lying around, but I can probably scrounge up equivalency if another table opens up.

GHC is my favorite con of all of them I've been to, but this year it falls on Halloween and there's another major event in town. It should be tons of fun if you can get involved in things, but it might be different this year in terms of its layout and events.

The tourney may have a late player or something may come up. If you want to be an alternate, please let us know.

We will not be able to open a 5th table (for a variety of reasons).

In terms of "equivalency" please try not to have any cash change hands at the event.
