I think that we should just let it be. TPTB will sort it out when they deem it necessary. Suitcase players have to remember all of these effects anyway...and in a sense that adds a skill/memory element to the game.

Fair point - if you can remember Everything you have, that should be a bonus...lol..I never do.

This would screw with two-handed ranged weapons. Maybe it was your intention to disallow ammo on the higher damage ranged weapons? Not sure.

I think the idea is they would "fill" the off-hand slot like an Archer's Buckler does.

The Lamps are not reactionary items, they require a full Standard Action to use.

Oof. I thought they were much better than they are. Thanks for clearing that up!

I think I'll be trading mine away now.

Yeah, I was thinking Archer's Buckler. Not sure if good or bad, just that putting it in the ranged offhand slot might help the "can I use many quivers" question.

I like mine still, just have to wait until the end of the room to use them.

Andrew Haas wrote: It's late in the development process for this but I really want to point out that the Arcane Belt is way too good. It should just be +2 to Spell and Ranged damage not an effective +2 Focus and Draco-Lich Charm level effect.

Also, the Skull needs to be put into a slot along with a lot of the other slot-less power tokens like Kvothe's Bloodless. It will be a popular token but it won't stimulate demand for new Teeth like people are hoping, not unless its something like "+2 hp/tooth, max 4 teeth". +1hp/token is just not a big enough incentive to support the price of the newest teeth.

The Skull argument has been made during every iteration of development. It doesn’t appear likely to change.

I think it will be a nice bonus for those who only recently have begun making large orders. But only if is slotless.

If the combined teeth token also imbues psychic power, the Skull will have a very short useful life.

I think the skull is mainly aimed at players that can get some Teeth but not all of them. I think it's a really elegant way to recognize that there are a lot more of the later teeth than the earlier ones, and make it more worthwhile to still get as many as you can even if you can't get them all.

Jeff indicated in another thread that he was “99.9%” certain that the eldritch token from the combined teeth would imbue psychic in addition to unlocking all the tiers.

I've always been sure that the Eldritch would unlock psychic, that's why I haven't bought any of the UR enablers. That just emphasizes the target audience for this is players that won't have all the teeth.

Unless Jeff says you can outfit individual teeth along with the transmute. Then someone could have the Eldritch token, and up to 7 teeth to gain some free slotless HP.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if there is a recipe for the combined Teeth that is something like "7 Teeth + UR imbuer and nothing else" and a separate recipe that is "7 Teeth + Rare imbuer + trade goods".

I also wouldn't be surprised if that is completely not how it works out.

RoSP required the 7 segments and one each of the 11 trade goods.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I suspect that given how Relic and Legendary recipes from recent years have required more than Relics and Legendaries from the year the Ro7P came out, that we shouldn't be surprised if the Teeth transmute requires more than the Ro7P did.

And we shouldn't complain about it, right? Right? RIGHT?

Honestly, I really hope we don't complain. If I hear, "this should have been announced when the teeth were announced" I may lose it just a little.

I'm anticipating a Golden Fleece requirement this time around.

My intent was more to raise awareness of possibilities rather than curtail complaining.

Or at least point out that there are other data points that people may want to consider if they are drawing conclusions from the single data point of what the Ro7P took to make.
