Consider? Not crazy to consider.

That said, it's probably far too good to be printed as a slotless item, which is too bad, because I do love the idea.

I'd make room for it. We could even do planned runs for it.

That said, probably too good for slotless, not good enough for other slots in most cases.

Unfortunately with Sunstone and elfstone shards, that doesn't feel right either.


I agree, though i don’t have a better idea (didn’t know Harlax) and I’d rather try to improve a token than try to just say I don’t like something, who benefits from that?

Maybe a synergy wildcard type ability?

+1 count for non-consumable synergy token effect for the party

Would take some analysis to know if that had to be selected by the equipper and static for the party or if each party member could use it to bump whichever synergy effect they're most interested in.

If the former, I'm not sure it's strong enough for an UR or if it would need something more. If the latter I'm not sure if it would be too strong.

Sorry if my post came across as critical. I appreciate working on an idea as a group, and I was definitely not being helpful in that regard.

I haven’t read everything on this so I may have missed it, but what about a chart type synergy token for saves.
1 to 5 +2 saves
6 to 9 +3 saves
10 +4 saves

I hadn't really fully fleshed out the idea, was just sort of a general concept for people that are more used to synergy tokens to run with if they found it interesting.

I guess I'd lean towards something like a charm as far as slot, 5/9 of the current tokens this would support are in the charm slot. I think if it went slotless it would drift more towards a thing that people that somebody might buy a bunch of and just assume the other people in the party are going to equip.

I'd lean towards each party member getting to chose how they would utilize the +1 provided by each charm equipped by the party.

To make it interesting as a random pull, maybe add on +1 Con? Would give any new player that picks it up +4 hp +1 fort.

How about this:

Harlax’s charm of ultimate synergy:
+1 Con
Gain and provide the multi member bonus of another charm in party.

Would let someone gain and provide the CoGF bonus, or the synergy bonus, or the cabal bonus... as long as someone else had a token to match.

That creates the opposite problem of those that new players can't use in their packs--no veteran player would have a need for it. Even in a PUG, most have 10x of the 'synergistic' tokens.

For those groups, it’s a pure upgrade.

Let’s say you have a partial or full set of the UR synergy tokens or CoGF. You would only need 1, and the other 9 people could use this and get +1 con out of the deal.

Sure, it doesn’t help if your group had 10 CoA and 10 awakened synergy, but I’ll go out on a limb here and say most groups don’t have 10 of both of those.

It may be not be the norm, but--yes, that's definitely the case on Team Synergy. We've got about 25-30 regular players, and about 25-30 more that join at the in-person cons. I'd say about 80% of the group has ten of each of the synergistic tokens.

I'm certainly not saying the token design needs to take that into account--but it would be very disappointing if a token honoring Harlax was something that the group wouldn't use.

So out of roughly 55 players, there are 440 CoA and 440 Charm of awakened synergy? That’s so many it seems... unrealistic?
