Offhand melee slot only, FoB compatible, only ranger/monk can use as weapon

Damage : 7,6,5,4,3,2

+1 to saves, counts as part of Lucky set.

At the moment it is difficult to equip the Lucky set if you're playing one of the classes which doesn't have access to shields, and impossible to equip the set if you are playing Monk or Wizard. This would open the set bonus up to Monk, Ranger, Rogue and Wizard, while having the still considerable cost of taking up your melee offhand slot.

I am a fan of FoB blunt weapons. Based on your recommendation this basically an orb of might where you trade +1 to-hit in for +1 save since the increased damage wheel makes up for the loss in strength. I really like it, but something seems odd to me and I am not sure where the balance point here is like maybe +2 saves but d6 dmg. I think trading DMG for saves is good choice to push on players as it causes them to source out and find other tokens to make up for the dip in whichever they choose against.

Edit: Possible name change to X's Lucky Cannon Ball. Add whatever cool pirate name fits best. or potentially build a transmute path to legendary.

There's no Wizard 1 hand melee weapon that boosts their spell damage. Could be doable as a ranged offhand item but if the intent is to give all the remaining classes a way to use the bonus it couldn't be a melee off hand item.

A wizard could forgo the spell bonus damage from the staff of focus and use a dagger and the orb. The +2 staff is getting harder to find, and I think the +3 staff is worse. Give it a few more years and +focus might not really be an option for newer wizards

So give up +2/3/5 spell damage to get access to a 5HP set bonus that other classes have access to from a strongly used cloak or solidly useful armors?

It gives the Monk a great way to access it but the Wizards have to give up one of their limited spell damage bonus slots to use it.

Why not just move it to another slot instead.

"It's getting hard to find a token" is not a reason to design a new token that breaks it's use. That's generally a reason to reprint said token.

Print the suggested +2 Dagger of Focus transmute chain from this year and I forgo my complaints about the Lucky Orb

Honestly, I don’t see a specific reason to open up the lucky set to everyone anyway. If one of the perks of Fighters is “access to all the gear” then some classes should not have access to everything.

So, IMO, give wizards the option to break the focus bonus for a saves bonus and the lucky set... or Just leave them off all together, or don’t print the token. Any of those work for me

The Lucky Cloak boosted the classes that could access the set this year. I'd say don't add more tokens that increase the set if they're not open to everyone.

Probably best to leave the Lucky set where it is today.

Would it make sense to wear these over arcane or charm bracelets? I suppose if you’re already equipping both +2 melee damage IS, Draco litch, and greater onyx?

I kind of agree it would be nice for clothies to have access to the lucky set like everyone else. It was from what I understand kind of designed to give new players something nice.

Maybe a lucky robe 2ac +1 saves, or better yet 0ac +2 focus +1 saves

+2 Tuned Blunder 0/0/4/6/6/8/14/25 Fighter & Ranger (both hands)

These are professionals, they have the cleanest wares and they always use the appropriate lubricant to ensure their weapon is in top performance. To call this a blunder is almost a mistake. This is a tool that only the most highly trained ranged combatant would know how to use.

Edit, for clarity, no bombs on this machinery.
