Bracers of Fire

I think we're due a +2 sonic damage bracers before a reprint of the fire ones.

This was a completion token, to date completion token's have been reprinted (but there have been functionally identical ones printed with different names).

Darkling Earcuff (or new token with +1 ref and situational modifier ?)
Earcuff of the Bliss

I think these are due for a power boost given the +4 Rare and +2 Uncommon completion tokens.

I'd suggest a cycle of 3 uncommon earcuffs that grant +1 to each of 2 saves.

Something that transmutes to the legendary CoA status but keeps the legendary price range for most legendary items (1200-1400) They are out of reach for most people now and it is hard to find the Point components. IMO

A. I think UR+ TEs are settled through 2026 or so by prior token proclomation.

B. There was never a point where CoA or the ingredients to make one were worth substantially less than $900 - so if they are out of range for someone now, they probably never were in range.

Rob F wrote: No straight UR reprints at all please. Its an Ultra Rare, every time one gets reprinted it's less "Ultra Rare". The Mithral Gauntlets got reprinted in a way with the Death Knight Gauntlets and I'm somewhat ok with that. Keeps the original Token unique while making the functionality of the Token available to newer players at a reasonable cost.

The problem with this occurs in slots with multiple items.

If we never reprint Orbits then some people can never get access to that effect.

If we reprint it with a different name, some people get the effect twice.

I broadly agree we should chill out on reprints.

I don't think it makes sense to print stackable effects in slots that can accommodate multiples.

Fred K wrote: Please reprint the various guns including the +2 Boom Cannon.

Related to the cannons, etc - please have all of them have the bomb as part of the damage wheel. I organize gunslinger runs and part of the enjoyment of using them is the random misfires.

I like this idea, but think their damage wheels should be substantially better. If you simply average the damage wheel to compare between a weapon damage wheel with misfires and one without, you end up creating a weaker token than you should.

This is because whenever you misfires the value of the misfire is not a 0, it's:
-(whatever your ranged damage modifier is).

I put some recommendations in the C/UC/R lists of what I think reasonable values of damage are for blunder weapons.

I also suggest the misfire simply have no effect whatsoever - it's on balance not fun to spend your turn sliding to have no effect on the monster and injure yourself.

Of course, if you playgroup likes the damage on misfire, no one is stopping you from house ruling that.

I don't think this and the Ring of Expertise should be in print at the same time. Very feel bad experience for anyone who bought the Ring of Expertise.

Yup - it's about time for that. The dynamics of spellcasting have changed a lot since 2016 and this token gets more appealing as spell damage bonuses climb.

David Harris wrote: Based on the setting....Treasure Map! and Treasure Map Fragments, but make the fragments different like the Relic Recipe Fragments. And have some great X marks the spot game going on at the 22 conventions.

If we do this, make the Fragments the 50 GP item in the common set so that new players don't get saddled with mathom when they don't yet have a cloak and a sword.

I seem to recall the "special treasure box" caused some issues - so if you can combine fragments for a treasure draw I'd suggest it either just be a normal draw, or be a transmute only thing (e.g. send in 7 fragments and TD will send you your "special treasure draw").

Or - have these be treasure box only items similar to the Relic Fragments.
