Should Ring of Storms be "Wizard" or "Wizards"? That is, are we intentionally leaving the Elf Wizard off, which is how it reads now.

So much Fighter and Elf Wizard hate this time around.

Thanks for all your hard work on these tokens, Jeff, and for listening to our wheedling & pleading.

Final thoughts:

Commons look good.
Uncommons look good.

Rares
- I like the change to the wording on the Gambler's Grenade. Much clearer now thx
- Lenses of Close Inspection now covers Critical $ SA Immunities (for Melee). I think its a good idea (and easier on Coaches & DMs) to keep those together instead of splitting out just SA immunities. Good Choice here.
- I kinda like the GP change from 400/600 to 500/500. And is it just me or does that Silver Sea Compass have a little extra shine to it now? It looks *really* nice!

Ultra rares
- Good re-wording/clarification on Butterfly Cloak
- I like the renaming on Deadshot Goggles
- Excellent work changing "HH" to "Harlax Lamps" in the token text. My jaw dropped when I saw that abbreviation last round, and was *really* glad that someone pointed out the Faux Pas in the comments!
- Super Glad to see the Bead of Guided Strike make it to final proofs. I acknowledge that I'm biased, but this is one of the tokens I'm most looking forward to from this set.

Special
- Good call toning down the Turkey legs a touch. Still gonna be fun to collect these, but they're no longer OP.
- Elder Dragon Orb has a very nice ?spinning? flare around it; much more eye-catching than the red glow from earlier iterations
- Eldest Dragon Orb is now substantially different from all the other Orbs, with its Dragon Claw setting! This may not be what I originally envisioned, but I like it. 9/10; Would steal from a Dragon's Treasure Horde if given the chance. I'm giving it the Thieves' GuildMaster Stamp of Approval.

Transmutes
- Does that Firenewt now have a little colour to him? I like!
- Good call dropping the "Returning' from the Turkey leg transmute
- I am a little confused by the new wording on Bead of Greater Binding. It makes it feel like it stacks with NO other Beads? Is there a way to clarify this a little?

THANK YOU again for your sweat & tears and letting us bend your ears.
This is a very nice looking set of tokens, and I need to start saving up some extra cash for 2022 ; )

Singular Wizard and Fighter have always implied the “Human” class in previous tokens. Plural indicates the class as a whole and Dwarf and Elf have always been called out when appropriate.

EDIT: That said I can’t track down anywhere in previous tokens where this has been laid out. So I may just be inferring intent rather than actual precedent. But it looks like in 2012 we switched from the singular to the plural on both fighter and Wizard classes.

TL;DR: I now agree that it should read Human Fighter/Wizard just to be clear. :)

The Player Cards are Wizard, Elf Wizard, Fighter, Dwarf Fighter. There is technically neither a "Human Fighter" nor "Human Wizard" in the game... You, and many of us are assuming their Species unless that has been stated somewhere I'm not aware of. I like the idea that it's open to personal interpretation for RolePlay

Personally I would love to keep it just at Wizard and Fighter to stay inline with what is on the player card and to leave it open for roleply - it just gets dicey when you include pre-2012 tokens. Though I am happy to reset the precedent now with these tokens. :D

Guys, what if it’s a map to where pirates are buried? Then it’s just a “map to buried pirates”, no apostrophe needed.

I'm not sure what tokens you are referring to right now. but correct my earlier statement... TokenDB Search reveals no Token with the word "Human" in the Text. BUT TokenDB description searches do reference "(human) Fighters" and players and everyone have always said Human Fighters.... but maybe that should change to be more inclusive?

A thought probably too late:
+1 Turkey Leg
May be eaten (heals 7 pts of damage) and bone thrown as ranged (turn in).

Transmutes:

If you want consistency across all these tokens; you could change:

Charm of the Firenewt to say +2 Fire damage with melee attacks
and
Lenses of Hunting to say +2 damage with ranged attacks

This makes them both match the wording of the Havoc Rings

Bead of Greater Binding could say +3 to hps healed when you consume a healing item. No stacking with other Beads (2/room)

If you look at tokens prior to 2012 the singular, Wizard/Fighter, was used to denote both types. E.g. Circlet of Elemental Mastery has just Wizard for the class designation but is wearable by BOTH Wizard and Elf Wizard. Post-2012 the designation of Wizards and Fighters was used to indicate both types for each class. There are a few Dwarf Fighter only tokens as well as a few Elf Wizard only tokens. They should in turn get there own class only tokens - the question is how do you designate. Both of the conventions come at a "cost".

As someone who regularly plays Elf Wizard, if I saw a token that had just Wizard on it from this year I would assume it was not for me, especially if I saw other tokens that said Wizards on it. I know in the forums here we most always follow that same convention. So maybe this is the year we give the Fighter and the Wizard their due.

Specials:

I keep meaning to ask are this year's Greaves really call Basic and Very Basic Greaves?
Also regarding the Greaves none of the previous versions have used the word attack, to be consistent with other Greaves would be -1 (or -2) from Acid

Eelward Amulet can probably drop the word take.

Re: Turkey Legs I just noticed the latest version jumps from +1 UR to +3 Relic! Also the rare and UR have the (FOB weapon) above the other text; while the Relic has it lumped in with the Crit Range at the bottom.

Hi Jeff,

In the "difference that makes no difference" category, the original +2 Staff of Power had the "8" at the top of the damage wheel instead of the " 3". It might be nice to make the new one the same as the old one so they are visually consistent.

Thanks
Mike

The basic greaves are a word play on the fact that they reduce or "nullify" acid damage - it's an AMAZING science pun.

Now that I look at the rares, I think you mean for this not to stack with the rare Bead of Binding. So maybe:

+3 to hps healed when you consume a healing item. No stacking with Bead of Binding (2/room)
Or
+3 to hps healed when you consume a healing item. No stacking with rare Bead (2/room)
