I keep meaning to ask are this year's Greaves really call Basic and Very Basic Greaves?
Also regarding the Greaves none of the previous versions have used the word attack, to be consistent with other Greaves would be -1 (or -2) from Acid

The basic greaves are a word play on the fact that they reduce or "nullify" acid damage - it's an AMAZING science pun.

Ohhh! I get it now...that is amazing. I was being more literal and thought it was a placeholder name. Thanks for clueing me in!

staff of power, is it a melee weapon like the original or a ranged like the other staves in this series? I am very late to this party.

It is a reprint of a melee weapon. It is totally separate from the mage staves developed this go-around.

I thought the UR turkey leg was meant to be a 2K token rather than a transmuted?

Either way, I'm glad to see these toned down.

Should the havoc rings be "may not wear other havoc rings" instead of "can't wear..."? If it fits.

I may be in the minority, but I preferred the deadshot items named the other way.

Only 9 rares that convert into Aragonite for the 2nd year in a row. Expect to see these go up in value on the secondary market.

Given the other classes on it, feels like Ring of storms is missing the 's' after wizard (wizards).

One more pitch to please consider toneing down the lenses of close inspection. They basically are bracers of strike and the limitation of "rogue only" isnt a true limitation since it's mainly rogues who want them. I would argue that most rogues would still wear this rare over the UR bracers.

Please consider either restoring the -2 ranged attacks (they are of close inspection, maybe they make you near sighted) or moving them to the bracers slot, Ideally both. If they stay as is, maybe the neck slot which has been very powerful recently.

In the eye slot they replace heimdall lenses, in the bracers slot they replace elemental damage bracers. So at least in bracers your making the choice to gamble more damage. And with the bead very likely seeing print the people who would want to free up bracers to make the charm bracelets shouldn't be using this item anyway.

It's also worth considering that modern high end rogue builds mostly all wear Helpful hat, and will probably sneak this effect into their second eye slot (probably the reason you got so much push back to -2 ranged penalty on a rare).

Also one more push to take the +2 initiative off the halrax lamp. A slotless charm of synergy is already a very powerful token, & +2 initiative just seems a weird addition that in practice will probably just result in monster having higher initiatives to combat it are parties without lamps loosing the roll more often.

P.s. The set looks very solid over all.

The current class restrictions on the Bead of Guided Strike continue to be illogical. As has been pointed out only the Dwarf Fighter has a crit ability printed on the player card (Fighter should be dropped) and Druid which has an expanded crit ability is currently not listed.

Recommend either making class list consistent with Bracers of Guided Strike (no class restrictions), making the list consistent with classes that have a crit class feature, or making rogue only (primary class this was designed for).

Best to remove it, IMO, but I think we are too late for that.

If it needs to stay, rogues and fighters make sense. Rogues to enable sneak attack, and fighters because their special ability is supposed to be great gear access. Usually the gear access gets eroded quickly (see Death Knight mail), but maybe this one will stick as a fighter perk.

Overall, I think its a very solid set. I'm happy with how some things turned out and less happy with a few others, but I think that's probably a good thing. It probably means the set isn't skewed too far in only one direction.

In the Specials the Ghost Accelerator text seems to indicate DMs roll a saving throw for an enemy?

"DC15 will save OR 1 incorporeal undead is trapped forever" 1 use/game

If I read that it means that a player says "I'm using my GA as my action" against *hopefully* an incorpreal undead enemy. Because the text indicates if the save is failed, a creature is trapped forever it should then indicate the DM has to roll a DC 15 Will save for that enemy and if it passes, the action ends and GA cannot be used again. If it fails the incorporeal undead is "trapped". Seems like an expensive 1 shot attempt. If the enemy has at least +5 to willpower your success will be less than 50%.

I would prefer to see that the player using the Accelerator has to make that will save AND (not OR) the incorporeal undead is trapped.
