I would also say headgear for “the masses” is lacking relic + love, pern only loved the high ac club. Maybe we could get a tri corn hat of the mighty hellway? With bonus to hit and armor? Maybe just bonus to hit everywhere and no armor? Could forgo the earcuff and do a hat of buckles that gives extra charm /ioun slots like the inverse of a cooks hat.

Also 2 handed weapons at relic have been undone since 2015, and there was a one handed (granted unloved or over loved) this year. Any chance for a 2h relic? Could be ranged, I’m not overly picky. Relic boom stick would be interesting, or a crossbow?

It'd be nice if Rogues had a BiS weapon above UR level. The Viper Strike set is now 8 years OOP, so although the Legendary recipe is timeless this doesn't allow Rogues to benefit unless they can somehow also find the other parts of the set. It's also getting less viable over time since (unlike Monks and Rangers, who can use the offhand slot) Rogues need to spend three desirable slots on a set bonus in order to use it, while better tokens are being printed over time to fill those slots. There are currently no other Legendary weapons Rogues can equip.

Nightshade's +3 Throwing Dagger
As the UR, but with an additional +1 to hit and damage
Grants +3 damage while Sneak Attacking

Nightshade's +5 Throwing Dagger
As the UR, but with an additional +3 to hit and damage
Grants +5 damage while Sneak Attacking
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

Umm... Thor's? Much easier to acquire.

this may be better to just reduce the drop rate.

This seems to be already occurring I'm seeing far less Very Basic and Basic Greaves in my treasure pulls than I did the Ice Resistance ones from last year.

True, I tend to forget that Thor's is equippable since anything with an expanded crit range built-in can't have it's crit range expanded further by other effects. Unfortunately Thor's doesn't really work for Rogues since it doesn't get the expanded crit range from the legendary necklace.

I would love a greaves transmute made out of previous years greaves, or a box amulet transmute for that matter, but not just a by our powers combined resist all. Some other quicky power like that would still be in the choose at start rotation like -2 puzzle damage, or +2 retribution, or maybe just a flat +AC

I would seek clarification from Druegar on that interpretation. It seems like the intent of that language on Thor's (especially given the explicit example token it calls out) is that you can't stack two effects that expand crit range from 20 to 19 to then create an overall effect that lets you also crit on 18. Whereas the intent with Raphiel's isn't that you are stacking to expand a crit range but are instead replacing your weapon's crit range but only when dealing a sneak attack.

I think it is possibly subtle but different.

I read it as “isn’t maximized” though benefits still, Thor’s can be used to sneak two individuals still, just the weapons natural crit ranges is unaffected. Benefits around, just not 100% utilized.

+4 assassin crossbow with a double six lower on the line might be an interesting relic to consider, the +2 was quite limited however. Maybe if it were just a “crows nest crossbow” and happened to have two sixes on it and “ranged weapon wielders” could all be on it? Rogues could still have a 3x crit, that shouldn’t have to change. Good for most, bis for rogues.

+1 to the idea of a new crossbow transmute path, usable by multiple classes. +2 Crow's Nest Crossbow is a great name. Transmute to a relic +3 Pirate Assassin's Crossbow with x3 damage on natural 20. Transmute that into legendary +4 Nameless Assassin's Crossbow with x3 on any critical hit.

Too good?

Please DO NOT reprint Assassin's crossbow only to nerf it. Please DO reprint to make it more available, or print an alternative.

For the record I own one and would be happy to see a reprint (as-is!) even if the value of my token drops. I want to see more Rogues have access to it.

IS:Nugget Pile - 6 treasures, takes 3 IS slots. Requires 3 different IS nuggets To transmute. Cannot equip IS nuggets. Yeah, I know what Jeff said, but thinking of the quartermaster’s back here.

+1. I'll even add the formatting that I used for this last year after multiple pages of discussion on it:

Prospector's Nugget
Uses 3 Ioun Stone Slots
Counts as IS Silver, Gold, and Platnium Nuggets.

I would recommend something of a compromise. The existing assassin's crossbow wasn't designed in mind with a 17-20 crit range. Maybe have a re-print of the UR +2 only be on a natural 20 but then have a transmute path that the +3 relic is X3 on any crit and the legendary allowing for the sneak to be multiplied as well (yes - that means a LOT more damage than currently.) Alternately, on the legendary have some other affect like ammunition isn't consumed.

New transmute ideas: (consumables)
Relic Greaves - transmute any 10 greaves to get relic greaves that provide DR 1 against anything but eldritch. Alternately transmute 3 greaves to get DR 5 against something unusual like radiant.

Disposable thieves' tools - transmute using masterwork theives' tools that allows any class to open the rogue box for either the clue or treasure (cannot be combined with Libram) a single time per adventure.

Cloning card - relic consumable transmute allowing someone to duplicate a class card already chosen (ie two clerics, two barbarians, etc.).

Distilled Sea Urchin Poison - +5 damage oil that can be applied to any ammunition (one use). We haven't had a poison or similar transmute since Oil of Deadly Venom in 2014.

Mad Maggie's Runestone of Protection - combining several runestones to get a relic runestone providing a +1 to AC for the adventure (does not stack with itself.)

Jester's Pigments - transmuted consumable that makes a single PC look like another humanoid of their choice (like the old disguise scroll.)
