Ring of Brilliance
Dagger of Arcane Luck
+1 Sling (or some 1-handed, non-thrown ranged weapon)

I like these three - the +1 sling-or-equivalent should be usable by all.

Rare: Charm of Enlightenment

With update: You may not perform hostile actions.

I mean... you're all enlightened, right?

I think the power level on the existing token is fine with that sort of drawback.

I say reprint as is, except make it a UR. I don’t think the power level is too high as a UR. Also there is so little that boosts wisdom I really hate to nuke it with mystic staves and other changes coming down the path.

I don’t think there is a lot of demand for charm of synergy right now. Probably need to wait a year or two on that one.

A Vol UR is +2 str (+1 damage and +1 hit) and Vol URs are generally higher power than normal URs. CoE is legendary power for sure.

Not all bones are equal. Also I think the volunteer (edit stat boosting) charms are week overall. The only reason I think the Volunteer Ioun stones are so good is that the Ioun stone slot is generally weaker tokens.

Also this years 2 volunteer charms are way better than Charm of Enlightenment.

A Druid gains +4 Healing, +4 Poly damage, +4 spell damage, and +4 will saves from CoE. Given a Druid can both cast spells and Poly melee attack in a round, that could be +8 damage, or +4 damage and +4 Healing at the same time.

The new Vol damage UR charms are OP of course at UR, but they don’t hold a candle to CoE

Is Druid the only class that gets that much of a boost from it.

Heck the new volunteer charms give a lot of the same bonus +3 melee, +3 poly, +3 range, +3 spell damage. It’s just missing the healing.

If only Druid is a major problem then reprint with all but Druid

The vol URs are also Vol URs, and this is a pack rare.

There is only 1 token with more than +3 Healing - Relsa’s, so it’s legendary level healing. you need to leave off Cleric and Ranger as well as Druid to account for the Healing boost.

Should leave off wizards too, so you don’t get +4 Poly damage from a pack Rare (i don’t think there are any pack charms with more than 1 damage).

Alternatively, it could just be reprinted with +4 will save and cover 99% of the use cases people have been using CoE for.

First my suggestion was to reprint as a UR. This is because I agree reprinting as is at Rare is a problem. Last time I was a price on it the charm of Enlightenment was going at $200 so there are so few in the ecosystem that it can support a reprint an ultra rare.

Second now that I look at it better it looks like only Druid and cleric get a bonus from wisdom with the proposal on the new ideas.

Druids do not get the boost from Aron’s that wizards and Bard get (yes I know it’s a legendary so not necessarily a great point.)

I think a fare bigger issue is spells getting to add damage from everything that says it increases ranged damage.

The more I think about this I think the best option might be to not reprint it in 2024 and see if it gets out of control. Then it will be time to decide if the problem is the token of the new rules.

Also as an aside it’s nice to see your old tokens get better with rule changes considering just how often they get worse.

I'd be in favor of this. It would really hurt to have bought one for UR price and have effectively erased. Simimilar president for rarity changing on ring of protection forever ago.
