Ok, maybe let the Paladins and Barbarians use it too, but less awesome for them.

I would also like to see a great 1H sword to make high-end fighters more attractive. Welfor’s hasn’t aged as well as other legendaries, so I would like to see a Welfor’s+. It’s basically the fighters’ sword since Paladins got Ava’s, and barbarians almost always pick 2H weapons. It would be great to see something added that helps it compete against Asher’s or Thor’s, but not powercreep Ava’s. Orion’s idea of a life stealing sword would be a nice feature!

Lots of debate going on about the Assassin's Crossbow so how about instead of reprinting it we try for a alternative item with a transmute path. Nerfs at the UR level, but is a power upgrade at the legendary level.

+2 Deadshot's Crossbow, part of Deadshot set
+3 Deadshot's Crossbow of Sniping, part of Deadshot set, x3 damage on natural 20s
+5 Deadshot's Crossbow of Assassination, part of Deadshot set, x3 damage on all crits
Only usable by bards, rogues, rangers, fighters
D10 Damage Wheel
Add a 4 Piece deadshot bonus maybe, either +2 to hit or +2 damage, or if TPTB don't wish to add to set bonuses, give the Crossbow just a extra +2 to hit than it otherwise would have to fit with set theme

Makes crit extender slot items more useful, rogues are stronger at legendary level, but UR and relics are pulled more in-line to other items in their class. I also like the deadshot set, so adding to it is a plus in my book

I think Rogue needs a better legendary melee

off-hand
+2 Death's Sting
can equip a Rare (or lower) weapon in main-hand
can be thrown (does not return)
cannot equip bow/crossbow/sling/etc,
+3 Nightshade's Returning Sting
can equip UR weapon (or lower) in main-hand
returns after being thrown
can be used to sneak attack ranged (thrown), all damage doubled on sneak attack
cannot equip bow/crossbow/sling/etc,
+5 Nightshade's Final Sting
can equip UR weapon (or lower) in main-hand
returns after being thrown
can be used to sneak attack ranged (thrown), all damage doubled on sneak attack
cannot equip bow/crossbow/sling/etc
negates critical & sneak attack immunities
on any successful hit (melee/range) with +5 Nightshade's Final Sting the player may activate Final Sting and leave the weapon embedded in the enemy. On the next turn player gets a guaranteed crit on their next melee attack with their mainhand weapon. Weapon does not return until the end of the room. useable 1/room.

I like it, I think it is likely too broken, I would make one for sure.

In terms of weapons, I would like to see a UR, Relic, and Legendary Mystic Staff for ranged attacks. Have the UR do Darkrift, Relic act like a chaos cannon, and Legendary work like a Druid relic where you pick an element for the remainder of the room. Also puts INT to use a bit more.

Maybe require INT or WIS at a certain level to use as well, like the throwing hammer.

I think it might be cool to see the casting classes get some kind of relic that serves as a spell focus.

Bard - relic kazoo (I don't have that bard magic, hah!)
Clerics - relic holy symbol
Druids - relic bough (GibGub's Blessed Acorn?)
Wizards - relic arcane focus

Make them slotless items, with an effect that is 2/game along the lines of "cast without using marking spell off", "spell automatically hits (no roll/slide needed) and ignores spell resistance", "cast non-damaging spell as a free action", or "cast an already-cast spell". Improve the resources, not the damage bonuses! This is kind of along the lines of Ashenne's & MEC, but if we give each item a single ability it may be an easier onramp to class-specific "cool things".

I'd also like to +1 Limitless's suggestion of UR/Relic/Legendary mystic staves for ranged attacks.

I had posted one that fits the bill - a 1 handed weapon that heals you as you hit. Damage is less than Thor's but you heal to full on a crit.

How about a lowlevel consumable transmute for a one time level up (or alt class access) like a potion of heroism.

Folio of Might was a rare that gave +1 level. It was treasure box only.
Some one-use consumable access to the alt classes sounds pretty neat. That might also be a nice treasure box only item.

It does seem the gloves slot is overdue for getting a relic/legendary! I would like to see an extra bonus for 2H melee users though. The slot has historically been a strong one for 2H melee (see Gauntlets of Linked Fury’s +5 damage) and that would be great to have continue in a transmute path.

Ya something like a treasure box only alt-class folio would be really cool.

A potion of heroism consumeable 3 star transmute would also good in the sense that higher level players who already have multiple ways to level up probably wouldnt make to many so it would have a better chance of staying in stock long enough to reach the target audience.
