I thought either the Negates would have to be removed or the "Final Sting" ability would not apply to Sneak Attacks...or both.

This just made me think, a Greek Mythology themed module series would be totally awesome, and they haven't really done that yet.

I know its probably too late, but how about a transmute chain for Earcuff of Orbits, but doesn't involve just pushing to 4 Ioun? Ex:

Earcuff of Orbits
Mystic Earcuff of Orbits: +1 charm, +2 ioun
Arcane Earcuff of Orbits: +2 charm, +2 ioun

rework to my previous posts...
started to think the little abilities might be better balanced as a legendary set bonus

Offhand Weapon: +2 Death's Sting
can equip a Rare (or lower) weapon in main-hand
can be thrown (does not return)
cannot equip bow/crossbow/sling/etc,
Offhand Weapon: +3 Nightshade's Returning Sting
can equip UR weapon (or lower) in main-hand
returns after being thrown
can be used to sneak attack ranged (thrown), all damage doubled on sneak attack
cannot equip bow/crossbow/sling/etc,
Offhand Weapon: +4 Nightshade's Final Sting
can equip Legendary weapon (or lower) in main-hand
returns after being thrown
can be used to sneak attack ranged (thrown), all damage doubled on sneak attack
cannot equip bow/crossbow/sling/etc
negates critical & sneak attack immunities

+2 nightshade shorrtsword: etc...
+3 nightshade shortsword: etc...
+4 nightshade shortsword: etc...

Nightshade Legendary set bonus (Rogue)
Final Sting: if player has both legendary nightshade main/offhand weapons on any successful hit (melee/range) with +4 Nightshade's Final Sting the player may activate Final Sting and leave the weapon embedded in the enemy. On the next turn player gets a guaranteed crit on their next melee attack with their mainhand weapon as Final Sting guides its sister blade to a vulnerable spot (does not work with Sneak Attack).
Weapon does not return until the end of the room. useable 1/room.


Shield of Faith: +3 AC, +1 Fort
Shield of Devotion: +4 AC, +2 Fort
Aresha's Divine Shield: +5 AC, +3 Fort

Sword of Faith: +1 Will, etc....
Sword of Devotion: +2 Will, etc...
Aresha's Divine Blade: +3 Will, etc....

Aresha Legendary Set Bonus (Paladin)
Divine Veil: if player has both Legendary Aresha Sword/Shield then 1/game player may activate Divine Veil channeling their Will and Fortitude to cover the party in a protective aura that absorbs up to 20dmg until the next attack round. Player may not perform any additional actions during the turn they activate Divine Veil.

What is it? Some weird thing that you hold in you off hand? A weapon? Rubber Chicken?

This reads as some slotless thing that lets Rogues throw melee weapons.

It would be cool to create a transmute that could be used as substitute for out of print tokens or relics in older legendary recipes.

I think you need 2. One for the Relic and one for the other non-trade good tokens.
To craft a +5 Viper Strike you need the following:
1× +3 Viper Strike Fang
1× Viper Strike Belt
1× Viper Strike Shirt
1× Venom Runestone
A Transmute to replace the Relic, and three of the non-trade good ones. Make the Relic Replacement cost about the same a making a Relic and the other ones around a 4*.
