Completely fine imo. Robe of healing came out last year. And AC matters less and less. I wear blessed redoubt and it gives me str, Templar gives regen, etc. not much value for a cleric anyways.

True, but Cranston's was 2021 and there were probably Clerics that bought them, including to allow them to equip Lenses of Divine Sight plus another eye slot token.

Which side are you on? Clerics who don't want to break up armor sets, or Clerics who wear Cranston's?

Honestly, nothing you've said invalidates the last year argument.

If this new, awesome Cleric token needs to be gloves, I would urge a trade in swap option. That way, a choice is made, but without the real world cost issue.

I'm not on any side, just pointing out there are issues with other slots also. I don't see a huge difference between a new Divine token impacting gloves from last year or Cranston's from the year before. Neither is ideal. A trade-in swap option sounds reasonable, but Jeff would know if that works for TD.

It seems like there are other options for this ability if that doesn't work, maybe a Divine Holy Symbol that has this ability plus turn undead, or an Divine Ioun Stone.

Or maybe keep it as gloves but put it on hold for a year, so it's not directly after the other token.

In the ancients ring, +2 of choice, is focus an attribute? Is there a reason it doesn’t say ability score? Are ability scores attributes?

I know the phb clarifies, I am also asking of attribute is the correct word in my way, highlight a potential issue by asking for clarity. Thanks!


Side note, randomly realizing it’s token dev time, after what seems like 5 rounds is an exciting day!
