The existing UR holy symbol is a "use every game", so moving this to be a holy symbol would mean that there is a healing option to choose instead of an offense option.

I think an Ankh as holy symbol would be most fitting for + healing and ability to split healing. It's the Egyption symbol of life and if now isn't the most thematic time for it I don't know when it will be. Give it +1 to healing and the ability to split heal spells if you need to tone it down for Holy symbol.

+1111100000 for Ankh - Holy Symbol.

+1000. I hadn't considered an Ankh for a holy symbol, so that alone would get my vote. Of course, I also have a vested interest in a holy symbol as a mostly Cleric player, so I may also be biased :D

I think we all are to our preferred classes😂 I’m kinda salty that the dmg wheel on the UR savage sword is better than my Ava’s Legendary. I also think that Clerics need another UR Holy Symbol outside the 2011 Greater Holy Symbol of Pelor. I’ve seen one or two sell at $800-$1,200 which is a hard hit for an UR.

2023 & 2024 UR PYP options
1. As proposed, there would be 0 head slot tokens available to PYP in 2024.
2. As proposed, there would be 1 eye token slot available to PYP in 2024. It only benefits melee.
3. As proposed, there would be 1 waist token slot available to PYP in 2024. It only benefits melee & thrown.
4. As proposed, there would be 1 neck slot token available to PYP in 2024. It only benefits casters.
5. As proposed, there would be 1 leg slot token available to PYP in 2024. It only benefits healers.
6. As proposed, there would be 1 off-hand token available to PYP in 2024. It only benefits melee 1-handed builds (seems fine, but worth noting).

+2 Mystic Staff of the Ancients should be moved to appear as the first token in the graphic (before +2 Savage Sword)

David Zych wrote: I'm sad for our wizard friends that the Robe doesn't feel particularly wizard-y. Is there still time here to make it count as part of the Arcane set, or add hit/damage with slide spells, or add your spell damage bonus to a scroll 1/game, or other ideas from truedungeon.com/forum?view=topic&defaultmenu=141&catid=710&id=256054&start=12#442105 ?

Thanks David! Yeah, the Robe is fine, but it's better for Monk and other classes than wizards. :) I'd still really like to see Wizard Robes that synergize with the class more. Maybe 2025, if it's not possible here?

I think the big plus on the robe is the level bump for newer Wizards (set bonus). If Int gets a bump on the new class cards Aron’s Sunhide Robe is going to be ridiculously awesome and with the new Omni items the direction that most Wizards will strive to go as they gear up making UR robes less desirable.

That's unbelievably high for a single-class UR with a situational ability, I had no idea it was selling for that much. I'd definitely support a reprint this year or next year if that's the case.
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

In the 6 years or so that I’ve been following and buying URs, I’ve only seen 3 greater Holy Symbols of Pelor for sale that I can remember. One of which I bought. The most recent was listed about 2 months ago for 1000. It’s not listed anymore, so I presume it sold

Agreed, the level bump is good. It's good for everyone though and not really unique. Plus Deadshot is much better and also recent. You're right though that Aron's is great. I was hoping for something interesting for Wizards who aren't oranging up that slot. It's not ideal that the one upgrade path is to go straight to starhide imo.

(Disclaimer: I have Aron's)

Interesting gameplay twist on the Wings of Wrath... and very cool mental image. But because of the 2-handed weapon requirement, it's really only a contender for Barbarians.

Also, it should probably say, "...Ranged-only monsters with Melee attacks..." on the offchance that a Fighter wearing Viv's Amulet of Noble Might equips it and uses Double Strike.

Yeah, no-one is arguing that a UR robe should compete with Aron's or Starhide, but it would be cool to have something that is different but comparably attractive to UR Moonhide Robe for wizards who can afford to buy or trade for a PYP but not relic+, and who get their level bump in some other way.

Moonhide's +5 Dex is good for Wizards because it boosts slide spell to-hit (also backup missile weapon to-hit if worried about running out of spells) and reflex saves. The fact that it also adds AC mostly doesn't matter, because Wizards playing Nightmare with UR tokens generally aren't going to have enough AC for a monster to miss them anyway, and while +2 Con is helpful it really doesn't compare to +5 Dex.

What if Robe of the Ancients were +2 Con +3 Int? That feels more comparable to UR Moonhide, and synergizes really well with +2 Mystic Staff of the Ancients using Int to hit, along with Int hopefully being inherently beneficial to Wizards with the upcoming class card revision.
dmrzzz's trade thread

Yes, my AC is lower than the Wizard's. No regrets!

Maybe +2 Con & All attacks do +2 dmg as Shock. This would keep it interesting for both Monks and Wizards.

I would love to see a full fictional holy symbol reprint, maybe a different god though. Something like that could be a great way to build up the TD mythology a bit.

I wonder if those prices reflect the demand of people wanting to equip this token, or collectors trying to complete sets and having almost none available to buy.
