TOPIC: GENCON Hotel Block Times

I hope everyone got good Hotel Housing Times! I got 12:39, which by far is the best random time I've ever gotten. Hopefully there will be an Embassy Suites room left at that point.

I got 12:36PM. Not quite as good as the time I got 12:03PM, but should definitely be sufficient to get me into my hotel of choice.

I’m seriously thinking of updating my application. I don’t want to DM or Coach, but I would rather work in customer support division and set-up / tear-down.

12:59. Fingers crossed it’s early enough for a downtown room.

I’m @ 2:42 pm, so I guess I’ll need to volunteer or sleep in a tent down by the river. 😂🤪🤣

Wow, this seems almost cruel by GENCON! I just entered the housing portal at my allotted time, expecting to be able to reserve a room, and I got put into a waiting line of almost 1000 people and over an hour. So much for an Embassy Suites room!

I suppose I was lucky with a queue of 500 then. Still, I had a shot at a downtown hotel which I haven't had in... 10 years I think? Decided not to get one, but still had the chance to, so I'll chalk that up as a win.
