TOPIC: Patron Grind 724p - Come join our ridiculousness!

Hi all!

I'm helping to organize the group so we are better prepped for grind.

Isabelle, Orion, and I can help equip anyone in the group. We have class legendaries and legendary weapons along with full synergy sets (Harlax, CoAS, and Shared recovery) along with extra Auri's candles and other bits and pieces.

Right now, the people I know are in this run are:
Fred - likely Cleric? Currently rogue but will drop that so someone else can do it.
Isabelle - Dw Fighter
Orion - Druid
Raven -
Belinda - Barbarian
Brian -

There are 3 open tickets for this as well.

(One aside - I'll give up rogue but ONLY to people who agree that when asked, "will you screw over the party in exchange for <insert bribe from DM here>" to answer, unequivocally, YES.

I'm on this run as well! I prefer Rogue and I will always take the shirt. If that's not good enough throw me in for Elf Wizard!

So, I'm good with playing Bard - which you mentioned we needed in the other thread - or Cleric, or Rogue. I only have the Relic class token for those last 2, but I picked up a Legendary Widseth's to lend out in PUGs and have never actually had a chance to use it myself. Plus I agree that having a Bard is probably more important in Grind, and I want to see that slot filled before looking at other options.

Do you want to put me down for Bard, and we can leave Rogue open for Brian or Fizziks ?

I must have missed that Nightshade herself was on this run! If you want Rogue I bow to you in that regard. I'm flexible so whatever works for me. Elf Wizard is my default backup.

Brian and I have epic-ready builds for several classes, and we survived Grind at GHC.

I'll stick with Barbarian. Brian's main class is Rogue, but he's currently signed up as a Ranger (I think). His Ranger build is basically his ranged Rogue build with Io's instead of the +2 Assassin's Crossbow and Ralson's instead of Raphiel's. He'd be fine as a Ranger if Fizzikx wants Rogue.

Fred and Raven, thanks for being willing to do Cleric and Bard, which are super-helpful to the whole party, albeit with fewer opportunities for "Blammo! Max damage!" I'm interested to see how Grind works in VTD.

Refresh my mind, GRIND has no TEs correct?

Hello Everyone,

I'm signed up for this run as a Paladin. This group looks like we will have so much fun.

I just joined as Cleric, but I can switch to another build if needed.

Please allow me to switch to either bard or wizard. I worked out an interesting build based on mystic staves. I am also happy to loan out whatever equipment people need (class legendaries, weapons, etc.)

Based on Lori's email this morning, we need to have our builds ready before we log into VTD tonight.
Please include in your builds (we have full sets of these for anyone who needs them): CoAS, Harlax Lamps, Auri's Candles.

I'll give everyone a Cherry Ale and a totem paint crushed ruby (+8 max hp plus CoaS and Harlax bonuses) if they want one.

Spellcasters, we have extra copies of the tome of useful scrolls filled with a copy of every common and uncommon scroll ever printed (2 extras).

I have switched to Bard and will be using the prestige class to further munchkin it to +5/+5 with songbird as well.

Whomever runs rogue, please feel free to use my build as there is almost no cross-over between my bard build and my loaner rogue build. Pilfer anything from this build you'd like.

We also have loaner copies of all class legendaries and an extra of all the legendary class items, weapons, and armor. If there are other items you may want, it's likely we have something or can recommend something.

Just a quick aside, do NOT equip TEs. Per Lori's Email:
Maximum treasure for this event is 20. No Treasure Enhancers may be used to increase this number. Everyone will get 20 just for participating.

Hi Fred, Brian and I will take the Cherry Ale and Totem Paints, thanks. (Extra HP doesn't hurt in Grind.) We're still planning on Barbarian and Ranger. (Our first 2024 transmutes came back today--a real TD miracle--so we're going to equip some shiny new Greater Gloves of the Gladiator with our 2-handed weapons. See y'all soon!
