Way too long since I posted here! Last night I ran a quick 6 miles in 47:30 - did the California Incline twice, running faster as I ran up the hill.

Ran 5 miles very early in 39:03, then ran 7 with Team in Training with a slow group - 1:21:00, so about 2 hours for 12 miles total.

Haven't updated in a while. Yesterday I did a 4th of July 5K in Redondo Beach - pretty happy with my time of 21:16.

Tonight the team starts hill workouts - yay!

So with running to and from the workout, I did 7 miles in 1:07:30. Very tough hill to run on - short, but very steep. Lots of teammates there!

I can't imagine what sort of masochism would be involved in running up a hill for fun

Nice easy run this morning - 5 miles in 40:13. Might run again tonight if anyone from the team shows up for a midweek run, but so far this season no one has shown up.

Today was a 75 minute run. I ran in the fast group, did 8/1 run/walk intervals, and we did 8.85 miles in 1:18:40. Not too shabby.

Now is this an event you're using to try and qualify for the Boston Marathon?

Officially I am training and fundraising for the Disney Half Marathon in September. However, I am also using that training to prepare for the Long Beach Marathon in October, at which I hope to qualify for Boston! :)

What's the Orc Stomp 5K?

I am training for the Disney World half marathon in January! (Or I was until I hurt my knee while foolishly pushing a camper up the driveway last week. ) I'll be running with my wife and this is our first half-marathon. Our first-ever official race will be a 5K mid-August.
