Hokay - 20 mile run today. Felt good at the start, but the last few miles were pretty tough. Sore tonight. Tomorrow will be a nice easy recovery day.

Today's route we ran part of the marathon course, the last 8 miles or so.

INSANITY!!!!! but seriously, good luck. I started running and it was terrible at first, but now the miles just roll on by, although I would never do a marathon. My sister just ran one in Milwaukee.

This is all both very inspirational and impressive!! Well done. It is a shame that you'll have to run the marathon in Los Angeles, though... :P :P

Hill workout last night. Ran 9 miles in 1:15, just a bit under MRP.

Itamar, the new LA Marathon course is pretty neat - lots of great landmarks, and it ends near the beach in Santa Monica (about a mile from my house!).

Sounds like a great course. Do you run (or jog or walk) the mile to & from your house, as well?

We start at Dodger Stadium in LA - we catch shuttle buses to get to the start - I am registered to take a 4:00 am bus to get there in plenty of time before the race. After the race, yes, I will just walk home (probably after a stop at Ben & Jerry's!).

Pretty good workout last night. Warm-up, then 4 X 10 minutes at hard 5K pace (about 7 minutes per mile) followed by 1 minute easy recovery run, then cool-down. Felt pretty strong! Looking forward to Daylight Savings Tine so I don't have to keep running in the dark.

Haven't updated in a few days b/c of a gaming convention this weekend.

Saturday - 12 miles - 1:41:35
Sunday - 7.5 miles - 60 min
Today - 5 miles - 42:09 min (Mondays are usually an off day, but I can't run tomorrow because of a volunteer commitment, so I switched that to today.)
