Thanks, when I was cutting the pieces out, I tried to make sure that the skull would be right side up at the middle of the body of the bag. So that it would really show off when drawn closed. The bags look so much better in person. The camera and flash tend to create a moire effect so you can't get a clear shot.

Bro, if you want to keep the cord, I'll leave it, but really think that satin ribbon will give you a much better life for the bag. And given that it is a satin brocade and being black it'll match fine.

What are your thoughts?

Would you guys prefer black rat tail cord?

I love it! Very creepy and evil - precisely what I hoped for.

I'm ok with the cord, but if in your judgement it is a detriment to the bag, I'll be equally happy with black ribbon. As long as it's strong enough to hold the weight of a pile of dice, get stuffed in a backpack, and occasionally be waved or swung menacingly by a horrifying villain, I'll be delighted.

/wink

Especially with as hard as I worked on the bags I don't want after a little while the fabric to have been frayed away due to the drawstring. Especially since some are unlined or reversible, so its the brocade on both sides of the cord which is not as thick as bridal satin. But even bridal satin over time gets eaten away by the cord. I had thought before hand I should have ordered the 3/8" satin ribbon. And now that I see the cord with the bags it reaffirmed my thoughts. So last night I ordered 100 yard spool of the ribbon, should probably have it wednesday or thursday. So any that are going to be mailed out I can ship on thursday or friday most likely, they'll be sent priority mail to ensure you have them before the con. I apologize for the delay, but I figure its worth it to do something right. :)

Oh and Lionheart, if this ribbon can hold a corset closed I think it can take on dice. ;)

Why did I suddenly have a mental picture of Lionheart menacingly swinging a corset clad barmaid at patrons... and would the ribbon hold up to that?
:tard:

I'd say that completely depends upon the size of said corset clad barmaiden. ;)

Ahh thanks y'all. THe pictures really do not nearly do them justice. The fabric is really ahrd to photograph. Too much flash blares out the fabric print, no flash makes it blurry. :\

Anyways here are couple others in other colors:

Again, I really wish the pictures did the bags justice. :\
