Got to play a bunch of games this week, including a couple new ones!

Russian Railroads (love this game and the expansions)
Coloretto
Fabled Fruit
Settlers of Catan
Favor of the Pharaoh
Grand Austria Hotel (liked this one - reminded me of the movie Grand Budapest Hotel).

So far my fave suggestion from when I posted on BGG are Homer & Marge, George & Martha, Dick & Jane, Abbott & Costello, and one I really like, Casey and John (Or John and Casey).

Thoughts?

Butch Cassidy & the Sundance kid
Bonnie & Clyde

I've really been enjoying Star Wars Destiny. Not that I need another collectible game :)
My online token shop: www.tdtavern.com

We buy, sell, and trade True Dungeon tokens. We also have a convenient consignment program where you can sell your own tokens.

Not that i need a another collectible game but,

How is it from a standalone game standpoint, as in for someone who has never seen or has interest in Star Wars? I saw the samples and presentations at the retailer shows but still not sure on it. My store is awaiting our allocation of product.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

Yeah TD and Hearthstone are enough for me. Used to play MtG but didn't get too seriously into that.

Also, I've only played it once, but Scythe is an awesome game. I don't like games with a lot of mean PvP combat, but in this one you're really only incentivized to attack twice per game. And your units are just sent home rather than completely destroyed. So that's not so bad. The game is really more of a eurogame. Upgrade your actions/units, build structures, build workers, create a resource engine. That part of it was super fun for me. Excellent components too.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

Ian Lee wrote: Sure. Can use for any of getting to people who are finding cards hard to find, sealed/draft play, or building a Jyhad cube.

Question becomes how feasible is shipping the stuff? Is there any way that picking it up at Gen Con would make any sense or is that just more complicated for little gain?

Or, maybe it makes more sense for me to find someone closer to you who could take them off your hands. I'll try to look into this, though may not get to it for a while.

No problem, I'm in no hurry. I've got tons of Jyhad boxes, a couple of complete sets (those weren't easy to compile), and a ton of singles. I'll probably start selling Jyhad boxes on Ebay in the new year, as well as some magic boxes and Bowen busts.

Thread revival! Hoody hoo!

So I have been looking for two games - not sure if they will be available at GC. Anyone have these or any information on them?

Century: Spice Road
Roll Player

I'm fairly sure Century will be at gencon since it came out at origins and its publisher Plan B is showing that it will be at gencon on the exhibit hall map but can't say how much stock they will have.

No clue about Roll Player. I don't see its publisher on the map but I do see they are running events for it so they may have something set up outside the exhibit hall to sell from.

Thanks - yeah, I worry about having enough stock.
