A few notes that I can remember from the Gen Con meeting.

One there will be reseeding in the playoffs, even if it needs to be done manually. Lowest winning seed will play against the highest winning seed. So if a 6 seed upsets a 3 seed in round 1, they will play the 1 seed, not the 2 seed. If the 3 seed wins, then they will play against the 2 seed regardless.

Toilet bowl is round robin.

Playoffs have home field advantage 5 pts (super bowl is neutral site, no advantage)

If you haven't done a mock draft, with the computer you are going to use to draft do so ASAP. This will tell you if you need to update your computer with flash player or other requirements. You can also draft from most smart phones, but don't wait until the last minute please.

You only have a 20 dollar budget for in season pickups. This is NOT refreshed each week and is the total you have for the season. So spend wisely.

Tie breakers for Free Agent pickups are done by record in reverse order. The worst team has the highest tie breaker, the best team has the worst. Prior to week 1, if you need to make a pickup, the Free Agent tie breaker is how much money you had left over from the draft. After week 1, the amount you didn't use during the draft becomes irrelevant.

For those that attended, and I meet a few people afterwards if I forgot anything please let me know.

nope everyone will start with the same 20 dollars. The only thing different is if you had more money left over you will have the tie breaker for pickups prior to week 1, that is all.

Just in case anyone has a problem and uses chrome as their primary browser, this has a good link to use... mine browser for the first time, didn't recognize the flash player I had installed. After about 45 minutes of banging my head into the wall I figured it out... on a side note I think I have a headache...

if you are using an ad blocker, it wont run the test. make sure that is disabled.

also if using mac book etc, you may need to use the zoom to see everything on the draft whne live

i recommend doing a mock draft on espn to see how it works and to make sure you can use it and see everything

I use brave as my primary browser but went to IE for draft purposes. It was simpler that way.

Reminder, the draft is less than a day way... about 21 hours or so.
