My heartfelt condolences.

Every time I checked in on this thread I was hoping for the best. Very sorry to hear she's gone Dave. Wishing you and your family/friends peace and comfort.

Thank you everyone, it has been such a help hearing from so many of you.

Those of you who I know on Facebook may have seen the services are planned for the 28th. I was going to skip V11 but my mother in law encouraged me not to sit around moping. She even said spend time with friends, play games, and stay out of the house some. So I will be doing the 1 turn I had gotten a ticket for to help defeat Barb Beard.

It won’t be the same without Jill in the room as she was a few times. She often forgot I was playing online so would ask me to clarify things I said when I was in the throes of battle. But she was not home for most of the current set of dungeons. She did know the pleasure I took in playing TD, but was always wondering about my token addiction.

I am keeping busy, as there is so much to do when gathering, organizing, and pausing so many times to consider a loved one’s life. I work hard to hold myself together. But family and friends are with me every step of the way, as is my Lord. I would be in bad shape without His presence.
