TOPIC: Let's talk Loki - Spoilers

I don't think this is a female Loki. It is Enchantress. Loki created her in the comics. Her name is Sylvie. If you look at some of the credits in foreign languages the character is mentioned by name "Sylvie".

For me the funny thing was that once she pulled back her hood in the episode, my initial reaction was "That looks a lot like Enchantress." That was before I read anything else.

In one Thor story in the comics, Loki showed us in female form for a while.

Those foreign credits can sometimes be misleading, but we shall see.

TVA specifically said she was a version of Loki and she introduced herself as such. My guess is the MCU Enchantress is just that version of Loki.

I definitely don't remember her introducing herself as Loki. She specifically says you can call me Randy (after looking at the name tag).

I just rewatching the last 10 minutes.

When Loki calls her Loki. She says, "Don't call me that. You can call me Randy."

She does talk about Loki being a different version of her. Specifically she was worried that got a better version of her.

It also might be telling that Loki says he would not treat himself this way, so he might be correct in that.

That's the part I was referring to. If she isn't "Loki" she at least views herself as a counterpart.

I 100% believe Loki would betray a version of himself if it furthered his goals.

But it isn't clear that she knew he was Loki at that point. She could have thought he was a better version of whomever she is. Now I do think she is Loki, but if she is not there is enough wiggle room there.

They made it a very specific point to have Loki explain that there are 2 types of magic. One is illusion and one is projection. In the latter you use your cellular makeup to make a copy of yourself. When Loki made the Enchantress he used his makeup to make her. After she sees Loki and realizes he did not make a "better" version to catch her she then starts taunting him.

Though that isn't actually what he says. "Illusion-Project involves depicting a detailed image from outside oneself, which is perceptible in the external world, where as duplication-casting entails recreating an exact facsimile of one's own body in its present circumstances, which acts as a true holographic mirror of its molecular structure." It is not a cellular makeup copy. It is a holographic mirror.

So she was a Loki but isn't anymore....???
