I figured henwy would kiss hands and shake the babies. After crushing people with his will, I'm sure he would look forward to listening to the lamentations of their women.

I'm watching MSNBC election results.
Toy story was on in the ICU.

Speed Racer!

Go Speed Go!

It was a pretty good flick...all three boys made it all the way through, although it did seem to drag a tad at times for dad.

I've been hearing mediocre reviews, so I am sitting this one out (thinking of going to see Iron Man again!). How was M. Fox as Racer X?

Jack was great as Racer X - overall all the acting was good and the "Matrix" fight sceen was really neat. The main villian guy ruined the movie for me - he was more like Mr. Slate meets Cogswell Cogs...but overall a great flick for kids and SR cartoon fans.

Just got back from Prince Caspian with Mrs. Widseth. We both felt it was better then the Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe. Great action sequences and fight sequences. I have to reread the book, but I felt it stole a little from LOTR, but I read the book so long ago, it might have been like that. (trees finding their life again and the river rising up). Overall character development was excellent on several levels. Each character grew in different ways and even the bad guys had differing character flaws that gave a level of depth to them. I thought it was an engaging story that moved well.

I can't wait to take the older grandkids. I highly recommend.

OK, decided to see IRON MAN again at the bargain rate, but at the theater it was at, the bargain rate was only for the 10 am screening, not the 11 (when I arrived). So I turn around, went to the theater across the street, and saw the bargain 11 am showing of Caspian. It was really enjoyable. Peter Dinklage was awesome, as was Reepicheep.
