TD CON 2029 FAQ

Transmuting & Treasure

  • Will there be transmuting at TD Con 2029?
Yes. A schedule and details will be posted closer to the event.
  • Can we transmute the access tokens for TD Con on site?
No. The Arcanum Ioun Stone token must be created before you will be able to purchase your TD Con registration.

Registering

  • Will adventure tickets at TD Con be limited to one per person?
All ticketed TD Con events will be initially restricted to one per person. As we draw closer to the event we may open one or more adventures so that folks can purchase multiples, but that is not guaranteed.
  • I always do all the coordination and tokens for my entire group. Will I be able to transmute all 10 tokens for our group, and use those codes for those 10 Arcanum Ioun Stone tokens to buy a complete run for my group?
Due to software limitations, every person that wants to buy an event ticket for TD Con must make an account at td.events and register a code provided after transmuting an Arcanum Ioun Stone token to buy a ticket.
  • Are people allowed to "ghost" any tickets at TD Con?
No, because tickets are limited at TD Con “Ghosting” will not be allowed.

Volunteering

  • When will applications open for TD Con volunteers?
We currently plan to open applications in the summer of 2028.
  • How many volunteers will be needed for TD Con?
As many as we can get. A 7-room dungeon adventure typically needs a bare minimum of 15 volunteers, and that's without a lot of the bells and whistles. Puppets, traveling NPCs, etc. all increase the number needed for an event.
  • Will TD Con volunteers get a chance to play any of the TD Con dungeons?
At this time we are unsure whether or not volunteers will have time available to play. It will depend on a number of factors such as the number of volunteers and the final event schedule.
  • What perks will volunteers get?
As with most events, we will provide our volunteers with event access, a role-dependent stipend, and exclusive swag. Full Time volunteers will be eligible for a spot in a TD-provided hotel room near the event venue. At Ring Con, volunteers received the same swag as Ring Con attendees as well as a number of high-value tokens.

Here are some photos of our last special event, Ring Con, held in June 2026:
