Due to staffing issues, we are unable to offer the full-time transmuting room like we have done at previous iterations of Gamehole Con. However, we realize a lot of our fans were counting on being able to do transmuting at GHC. To that end, we're offering a compromise. If you prepare your transmutes as if you were going to send them through the Post Office, you can drop them off during specified hours and they'll be taken back to TDHQ, processed, and should start shipping approximately one week after GHC.

In order to make this work well for everyone, we must insist certain protocols be followed. These protocols are not optional and must be followed to the letter. Here are the specifics:
  1. You must place a standard transmutation order through the Transmute Page (truedungeon.com/tep) -- exactly like how you would do it if you were going to mail the tokens in.
  2. Your box needs to be taped up just as securely as if you were going to send it through the USPS.
  3. You must use a good quality packing tape to secure your box. Using inferior tape will likely result in your box bursting and your order being obliviated.
  4. You must include all the proper paperwork, including the completed Order Form, Bag Slips, and (if applicable) completed Recipe Checklists in the sealed box.
    • Do not affix your Order Form to the outside of the box.
  5. Just as if you were going to mail it, you must securely tape the Mailing Label (not the order form) on the outside of box.
  6. Do not put a postage stamp on the box.
    • You're dropping it off in person -- there's no need to pay postage to get it to us.
  7. You must create one order (and pay the $10 fee [more for international] for return postage) for every box you drop off.
    • Unlike standard mail-in orders where you can split a single order over more than one box, to utilize this drop-off service you're restricted to one order per box -- no exceptions.
  8. All orders are limited to one box of reasonable size and weight. The box must not weight more than 70 pounds as it must be placed, by hand, on a pallet by you.
    • We are not able to place the box on the pallet for you. If you are not able to do so yourself, you will need to find someone who is willing/able to do so on your behalf.
  9. If you have more than 70 pounds of tokens, you must make two or more separate transmute orders on the TD website.
  10. If dropping off more than one order, each box must contain only and all the tokens required for that specific order. E.g., do not put some of order A into the box for order B.
  11. The box you use does not have to be an official USPS Flat Rate box, but since they fit well together on a pallet, we would appreciate it if you did.
    • Remember, USPS Flat Rate boxes are free!
  12. You will not receive your transmuted tokens during Gamehole Con.
    • If your transmute requires multiple steps, you can only complete one of those steps through this service. Please plan accordingly.
  13. Do yourself a favor and get your box(es) all packed & sealed before you head to GHC.
  14. We cannot provide boxes, tape, order forms, bags, or bag slips on site.

Drop-Off Schedule (Revised)
Due to the extremely limited amount of volunteers and staff at GHC, packages may only be dropped off during the following hours:
  • Wednesday: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
  • Thursday: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Friday: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Saturday: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
You may not drop off any packages on Sunday.

Will the volunteer at drop off onto a pallet be able to provide confirmation about how many boxes were dropped off for each person? I would hate for a box to go missing.
You can find more info on individual tokens at www.tokendb.com/

If you're dropping off more than order (remember, one order per box/one box per order), I'd recommend writing "X of Y" on the outside of each box where Y is the total number of boxes/orders you're placing and X is a sequential number representing a single box/order. E.g., if you're submitting/dropping off three boxes/orders:
  • On the outside of the first box, write "1 of 3"
  • On the outside of the second box, write "2 of 3"
  • On the outside of the third box, write "3 of 3"
And when I say "write", I don't mean tiny numbers written with a ball-point pen , I mean BIG, HONKIN' NUMBERS written with a thick Sharpie. Something that's easily readable from at least 15 feet away.

If we have Xth-level appreciation swag to order from the store, can we order it and have it included in the transmute shipment?

I am so glad I noticed this. I had a couple of bags of transmutes packed.

Friendly, but adamant reminder: If you are bringing more than one box, you must make one (separate) order per box. Each order must be placed on the TD website.

This is not a casual suggestion, it is an ironclad requirement. If you show up with multiple boxes and don’t have one website-created order per box, your boxes will be refused.

Also of note, because we’re in a slightly different location, our drop-off times are more flexible. You may drop of properly boxed & ordered boxes:
Wednesday 4-6
Thur-Sat 11-5
